@@chezabella1 I still kind of enjoy watching (along with Corrie) out of habit and I’ll always have time for the older stuff but none of these shows have been that good overall since 2012/2013 (and that’s being generous). The iPhone 5/post-BlackBerry Curve/Netflix initiation era was a time when television itself was changing. Nonsense like Derek shagging Kat, Tyler and Anthony and Newman’s era of “love and warmth” (really more interminable tedium and plastic gang-banging than anything else) didn’t help the show during those years (or going forward), either. After a certain point it was just so incredibly dull and it took a while for them to build back any sort of excitement or sense of urgency (totally lacking for the best part of 2013) to EE.
