Honorable mention: Medvedev's behind the back smash at the net during the Finals against Sinner.
Someone somehow thought rybakina’s shot was worth no2

@@royflambert shouldn’t have even been on the list
This is the top POINTS of the tournament. Not the top shots.
The Kostyuk-Merterns point looks like a USTA 12 under match, pushing and moonballing; crowd even laughed 😂 surely there was a better point than that one
its not tennis😮😮
They kept it for the length of the rally, nothing else.
I totally agree with your comment, they were better points than this one.
another female point was a somewhat strong forehand winner. Breaking story: a woman has hit a winner, baffling audience.
@@sherlockfury if you are referring to the one point I think you are referring to, well... she was facing a match point, so at least the circumstances were in fact extraordinary. not to mention they were 30 points+ into the final set tiebreaker...
Mannarino's spinny volley against Shelton was a remarkable shot as well!
This is top POINTS of the tournament. Not the top shots.
@@jproxursoxoffthen how is Jannik’s championship point not even on the list?
@@jproxursoxoff well clearly they included good shots as well because the tsitsipas v. bergs clip wasn't even a good rally it was just a great shot from stefanos
@@garrusv Many amazing points from the tournament didnt make this list. Dont ask me. Ask the uploader.
Damn. Rybakina has got some nerves of steel to play like that in a 16-17 tiebreak.
It is uncanny how calm she is. You can't read anything from her.
Medvedev-Zverev rally was 51 shots!
And to finish with that amount of touch after that ralley-length, jesus these 2 gave us a banger. What a crazy tournament this was, every match from quarters on delivered 100%
@@MoinMeister_187medi the best.
that Kostyuk v Mertens 4:36 point seems...out of place 🤣 seriously 4th place? More shots doesn't automatically equal good rally. Even the crowd were laughing at them. Come now.
i really was like "that's not tennis, what are they doing"
@@ivocorti8370 sd but true, works against 95 of the top 100 women
Moon balls tournament lol
If it was mens those balls would get punished on the rise
I went into this video prepared to disagree with you only to watch them start moonballing each other. That looked especially ridiculous after the preceding two points with Medvedev
Alcaraz passing shot against Sonego around the net deserves be here !
My thoughts exactly.
Unfortunately moonballing women are more important
Blinky - Ryba at 17-18 was also great. Insane defense by Blinky.
I think they wanted that point and someone made a mistake. There is nothing special in the presented one, especially not as number 2.
Medvedev vs zverev was the best match of the tournament
Согласен
And the only one i saw live :D
Чтооо? Лучший финал, вот где было настоящее спасение и провал 😮
Where is Alcaraz around the net? Come on...who made this list?
Alcaraz fans looking for their Oscar 🤣
@@unameit0000 I'm a Sinner fan but ok. If a shot deserve to be in the list I notice that.
@@gian7511 dear G
It is a joke. That's why i laugh at the end
AI
@@unameit0000jokes are supposed to be funny
It's a joke that Stefanos's shot isn't number one. It's just one in a million shot, the most difficult shot you can imagine, literaly.
I agree, that's hands down the best point. and I don't even like him lol
I don't think Kostyk and Merten's lob forehand exhibition would be considered a top 10 point, even though the point didn't seem to end.
Where is medvedev drop shot return against zverev?
Doing Meddy dirty here. All 3 of his points shown are ones where he loses the point. Could have at least shown the drop-shot return he did off Zverev's serve, it basically won him the match.
Also, that Rybakina-Blinkova point...the best one was 2 points later when Blinkova somehow defended Match Point by returning 3 shots that should have been clean winners.
The funny part is I skipped an entire minute on the 4th and the point still going 😂
Sometimes longer doesn’t mean better pls .
solid selection. though i think i would've picked meddy's dropshot return for #1
Nah.
Hubert Hurcaz' drop shot should be #1 imo
Kostyuk and Mertens moonballing should NOT be on this list 😭 I get that you don’t want to flood this list with men’s top 10 points but like… come on. That was not above the Sinner/Medvedev rally or Tsitsipas shot by any means.
That Hurkacz-Medvedev and Sinner-Medvedev points were way better than number 4 and 2
Where is Cazaux’s tweener point ?? Should be top 3
People don't know the guy so they prefer to put Kostyuk's parody of a rally instead
You guys always have the best match highlights! My only request would be for a separate 10 top ten for the men's and women's matches since there were so many great points played throughout the tournament! (btw that moonballing point between Kostyuk and Mertens was definitely not one of the 10 best points of the tournament!)
Everyone’s forgetting the khachanov twinner lob against sinner ?
Khachanov's tweener lob vs Sinner
That incredible get from Hurkacz looked out ngl
Fun fact: Medvedev - Zverev point duration was 1 min 11 sec. Crazy!
Bad effort. Blinkova defence boint, Medvedev dropshot return, Alcaraz around the net, Mannarino dropshot, Djokovic serve and volley from the baseline, Khachanov twinner lob are more spectacular than some points in this list
The Kostyuk v Mertens 4:36 point is a joke, any 3.0 player can just play loopy shots in the middle of the court. Long rally doesn't equal good point lmao
Medvedev being in 3 occasions in that rating says something about him
and lost three times😂
@@monopolia1682 not lost, but made his opponents do their best to overplay him, to fight for that point
Cockroach that's hard to kill
#8 should’ve been 1. I’ve never seen a shot like that.
His opponent couldn't believe his eyes
What was so special about it?
@@senders779 It was special because he managed to win the point against one of those dropshot that comes back to the other side of the net. Usually, with these shots there's nothing you can do because to hit them you need to be careful not to touch the net with either the racket or the body thus making it almost impossible to reach the ball; also while doing all the above he managed to hit an incredible angle.
@@senders779 the answet is easy. Im the advanced player with 30 years of experience of playing and watching tennis in tv. I've never seen a shot like that. Enough?
And also, where is Khachanov tweener vs Sinner...Blinkova's defense at 17-18...Cazaux tweener...?
Terrible compilation. Mertens/kostyuk point was garbage moonballing I mean come on..
Rybakina point not even best point of the tiebreak!
Tsitsipas is clear point of the tournament that was insane and what an angle
Number is just a smash, It's like number 4
That Almaier vs Kachanov point remains my favorite. Great touch. I really like Altmaeir's style --- very talented.
You'll see the best one handed backhand down the line shots on tour currently from him. He's a wizard when given the opportunity on his backhand.
@@YouAintGotNoTegridyBoi I'm not sure if "the best" (there's evidence that Gasquet's is the fastest and most top-spin bh on the tour; Thiem's are awesome too) but Almaier's certainly the most beautiful.
Medvedev's shank return winner must be #1 on this list.
Dimitrov's point doesn't deserve its place
Wheres Khachanov tweener???
Sinner played like a god in that point against Medvedev. You will not see a higher quality then that.
Kostyuk and Mertens - 42 shots and so what? Level hard is 5/10...
EXCELENTE RESUMEN FELICITACIONES !!!!
Stefanos Tsitsipas : Point of the Year. Not just the tournament.
There's nothing special about that shot, every player could do that
@@senders779 Not true. Most pro players would have given up the moment the ball went the other way
@@senders779 No
@@senders779 are you kidding?
@@xyriumelement nope, every player would've touched the ball on the other side of the net. There were literally hundreds of points like that, do you guys watch tennis?
Fantastic tournament
Nice trolling with Kostyuk vs Mertens in Top 10 Points of the Tournament!
Magical play by Hurkacz
Thanks for putting nonsense women points in that top ten, as always so pleasing to see 30shot rallies and lobed forehands all over the place finishing by a shot down the net, so beautifull. I mean is it so hard to do a top ten for men and girls??? Takes 10more minutes of editting i can do it whenever u guys want. God it gets on my nerves every time dude😭
There were many other rallies better then that in women match, if they can't choose, it's not a problem of women shots.
All the winners are in their places. Thanks to the organizers. I would like to see the top 50.
Some passing shots of Alcaraz in tiebreak of 3rd set vs Zverev.
Number 10 is reminiscent of an Agassi's over the shoulder passing shot. Magic.
Federer also did this one a few times
That shot from Valkusz deserved better. It was even better than Grigor's one.
Creo que la mejor jugada es la de Tsitsipas.
C'mon No 4 at 4:36 should have been the best ever😂
Who else just skipped the WTA points ?
Fritz' two-handed backhand winner against Tsitsipas in the late going was one of the best backhands I've seen.
Blinkova winner in that tiebreaker rally, when she was on defense are way better than this Nr-2 point. And ot was like next or 2nd next point. I think someone did mistaken what ball from this breaker he should put in top-10.+ This point here is no way near Nr-2. I actually saw a lot more good and crazy rally winners from Anna Kalinskaya when she played on smaller courts in 2nd,3rd & 4th round. Her ground strokes were amazing!+ Yastremska too had good winners, better than this one. This top-10 is kinda messy and 5 of the points i would change. Or they just put here points from matches played only on 2 main courts?🤔
why in all 3 shots which have Medvedev, he all lost. As a fan, I see that's unfair
That Medvedev has three points out of the top 10, but wins none, pretty well encapsulates his mental fortitude.
What about the Tsitsipas vs Van Asche?? Tsitsipas defended like 5 smashes xD
Meddys #1 is the tournament's #1, what a point!! Whoever's saying tsitsipas one should be the one, why!!? Its rare but that dosen't mean it was a breathtaking point or anything, he ran fast and managed to hit the ball lol, whats so special i dont get it!!
In last episode was 51 shots :)
#8. Seriously, number eight? You cannot be serious! Tsitsipas' over-the-net shot was not only the shot of the tournament, but perhaps the shot of the century! Obviously whoever is choosing these doesn't know the rules of tennis. Not only was Tsitsipas' shot better than all the others in this video just from an athleticism standpoint, but the fact that Tsitsipas knew the rule and thought fast enough to get himself to the ball makes it literally ten times better than most of the shots you've shown here.
No it wasn't! Calm down lol
@@tasfiquesaber7934 Yes it was
@@qc1okay shot of the century! R u kidding me!! I see you're a tsitsipas fan but come on bro! 🤣 yeah great athleticism and presence of mind but nothing technically brilliant about it! It's just rare to see something lyk that bt nothing special at all
@@tasfiquesaber7934 Too funny! Like the schoolchild chiding the principle. Dude, I'm so much more advanced than you that there's no point in discussing.
@@qc1okay I agree it has a claim for shot of the tournament, but for century?
Raonic had a shot like this except he actually went to the other side of the net and hit the ball right on the opponents net.
And I’m pretty sure it happened in this century 😅
So the 4th point is better than the rally between sinner and medvedev!? Come on...
what is number 4 doing in the top 10 points.....
why 360 quality tho
Thiem's backhand?? Your channel called it the backhand from a different galaxy. Does that not warrant a place on the ranking?
Number 4 is a joke 😅
Sinner and Medvedev's 39 shot rally should've easily replaced that women's 42-shot, by a mile...
De Minaur vs Rublev ? Medmedev crazy shot against Zverev ?
The passing during the match point of Cazaux against Rune ??
Valkusz is so sick
Incredible to think that after Dimitrov's great point he would double fault on the next one and lose the match therafter.
Kostyuk-Mertens looks like a wooden rackets match on the beach.
Point 4 was BS
exactly
Falto el de Djokovic contra Fritz y el de Tsitsipas contra Van Assche
Tsitsipas one should be #1. Heck, you did put in on the thumbnail...
Lols at the WTA entries just to stop anyone from crying.
Rybakina's point deserves to be here though. To play aggressively like that at that point in her match is just absurd.
Exactly. Ausies should replace the A for a P.
And queue the expected misogynistic comment.
@andrewmoores7166 you are still crying though...
no alcaraz ???????????
got to give credit to tsitsipas-berg, that was the best point
4:38 only Moonballing = Highlight? wow
forced equality
What about de minaur off the net tape round the net post?
I don't seem to understand why Rybakina and the Blinkova one would be so high up the list, or even be in the list, can someone please explain?
Look at the tie break score - it was a crazy match
They choose the wrong rally of tiebreak, Blinkova won an incredible defensive point in that tiebreak
They choose the wrong rally of tiebreak, Blinkova won an incredible defensive point in that tiebreak
This can't be the top 10...
5:54 HUUUUUUUUUUUUGGE DEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUUCCE
they really put the endless moonballing rally in but not alcaraz with his passing shot around the net from down town .. thats tuff
U didnt put that one of Alcaraz, for me the best of all
It's obvious that men's points are much more advanced than women's
No Alcaraz point in Top 10??? Just not possible..
Plus some points (like #1) were not Top points but just fluke!
Slay Su-wei made at least 100 shots better than some of these AND she won the mixed and ladies doubles doing it. No mention of the legend.
i simply don't know how zverev lost to medvedev and how medvedev lost to sinner 🤔🤔
Count me as another who thinks #8 is the true #1, extraordinary stuff from Tsitsipas
2,3,4th positions are shit tbh and deminuar round the net against rublev was hands down point of the year where is it .
Who the hell selected this order? Plus, there was a better point in that epic tie break between Rybakina and Blinkova.
Medvedev really played a ridiculous amount of ridiculous points this tournament. Honestly such an animal on the court that I love to watch due to his utter doggedness with a touch of class.
Is number 4 a joke? A long rally doesn't mean a great point. That was a full of lobs
Came here for the Kostyuk-Mertens comments🤣
Костюк -Мертеес это тупейший розыгрыш,Альтмайер хорош
Number 10 should be a in the top 3
How is it possible that #2 is not #1 ?
no points from the match of Carlos vs. Kecmanović... and Mannarino against Shelton?
Lo de Kostyuk VS Mertens es de risa. Ni entre los 100 mejores.
Alcaraz 3rd set tiebreaker points vs zverev should be added
The Medvedev vs Zverev match had at least two better points than all this ranking
Where's de Minaur around the net v Rublev?
Agreed
