that tempo drop is subtle but damn effective, def gonna use it! +1 sub awesome content!
Would love to see how you mix GGD drums, they’re the only ones I use
Great video; thanks for sharing such effective tips!
Also, you're little reference to Nolly made me laugh, haha. He has, indeed, helped me and many others to get our mixes sounding WAY better!
I'm going to try this on the newest song I just finished - there's a gnarly breakdown that I really want to pop!
Would love to see a tutorial on sfx and post production
Very good, thanks a lot. And of course, sfx video would be interesting to watch ❤
Some good tips dude! Would love to see a post production video! Feel like it's and underrated section in metal, yet so important. See the new HLb for reference for example.
Agreed! It's difficult to strike a good balance when it comes to post pro, it's easy to overdo but too little and it sounds empty.
Dude, i learned so much in this 8 minutes. Thank you so much ♥️🙏🏼
HUGE! Thanks a lot for your videos, they are helping a lot, huge channel buddy, congratulations for this high quality videos. Cheers from Brazil 🍀
Discovered ur channel yesterday and man keep making stuff like this and u got a lifetime ssub right here I love it 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Good tips man! thanks a lot! subscribed right now!!! yes i wold like to see how u handle the synths and that stuff!
Really good. Sub drops also give it a nice umph! I liked the tip on the snare ring only for the breakdowns.. that really did add a great raw sounding effect.
Hey man thanks for the tips, really helpful ! Your guitar layer tracks sit so damn well together, how do you approach their EQ/compression ? Been bingewatching your videos man, keep it up ! Hoping you can do a GGD Invasion mixing tutorial for some massive HLB-like drums someday :D
I'd like to see a video on the post production/fx!
Awesome video! My greeting from Italy!
Would love to see how you mix the GGD drums!!
That video is up now! 😄
Got damn! Your mixes sound awesome! Are you swedish? you sound a bit swedish, cheers. Edit: you spoke swedish, so id guess your swedish hahah! Fan vilka bra tips, andra ger inte tips i den här graden tack så mycket!
Tusen tack! 😄
Deeper dive on SFX will be appreciated!!
nicee niceeee !!!! but I have a big question, when you present a live show, how do you do to sound similar, do they have to play on top of a track, I imagine it contains all that, right?
I usually print the sound FX and post production as a single audio file.
If you will use the drum samples live, make sure to trigger them though as it will sound bad if there is a flam between the live drums and the samples. For guitars and bass you can print out whatever layers you want!
@@MOMetalProductions If you use triggers on the drums, at least on the kick and snare, you have that covered, and with the guitars for tracks with all the post production and everything right, EQ would have to sound very good, so is that so?
No wonder why our mixes are so HUGE
Pretty filthy. Old touring guy here barely getting into self production. 😎
what daw do you use for this video?
Cubase
