RIP Trio. I heard that Mars Team can literally scored higher than Herrscher Trio in IMG Flower too. They didn't last long despite being the most expensive team to build. Even HoR, HoT, HoS, and HoF last way longer than them...
In fact, Trio team was not that expensive.
HoTr was universal support, replacing AE, so just see her as AE replacement. Not to mention she comes with 190 Supply (get equipment for free).
HoO was free and ADV supply on release.
HoFi was just a normal S-Rank.
If building from scratch later on, yes, too expensive. But following on release, just normal team.
@@captain.hayama it's still expensive because it's the only team that consists of 3 S-Rank Valks and all of them was in the same patch. HoFi as the main Valk, HoO as the discount Valk, and HoTr at EXPA Select. It's still expensive no matter what is replacing what. HoTr replace AE? She still an S-Rank, the box also does not help because getting 190 pulls is insanely difficult, not to mention you HAVE to spend another 120 pull for HoO's gear and another at least 100 pulls for HoFi next patch. It's still very expensive and unfortunately a lot of Valks can brute force Trio's weather. HoTr DPS and PE can do fine in IMG Flower and IMG Bull, HoHE can be a decent brute force Valk for Symphony Kevin. And HoTr-HoT 7T-HoF can do Symphony Benares just fine. Now the repercussions has happened. Mars team took most of their content, and SSS Benares belongs to Luna + FoV team.

Here are just some facts:
+ HoTr arrived in 6.3, HoO and HoFi arrvied in 6.4. EXPA select was rerun.
+ HoTr went with free Supply. Get 1 equipment box at 60, 110 (Weapon), 150, 190 pulls for full gear. Even cheaper than DW.
+ HoO is free from Story mode. Her gear supply is same as for SP Valkyries. Technically cheaper than SP Valkyrie.
+ Trio team dominate meta for over half a year; HoFi even works with CN in some bosses.
+ In RL, many valkyrie can bruteforce many weathers. In Nirvana, this version is the first version that Trio gets dominated.
+ Since release, veterans would never recommend Trio team for newbie. Find Marisa videos for reference.

Back at the 800 bracket with Mars Tech and only half the buff from weather. Trio really died huh.
Astral ring buffs/mechanics are just way too massive for one rotation. Just look at that resonance damage.
With the addition of Lantern coming next patch. Is it safe to assume that trio herrscher is near being obsolete, except for Img theme?
For 9S, Mars already catch up to or beat trio on IMG bosses. Case in point upcoming bull boss in abyss.

Possibly yes, Kevin is threshold based boss, there's no way I can be certain which strat works best.

Is it just me or do these newer valks feel way stronger at SSS vs SS compared to older valks. I have SS and the dmg is extremely disappointing.
Bruh, maybe look at the skill themselves and see that there's nothing much to substantiate your claims. Kevin is not a good benchmark because this boss is extremely threshold based.

You'll have to test both, Kevin is threshold based, so you'll need to compare which one works better.
