@Swedish Ghostface Ok but you are misunderstanding what being a "Greek" means in the Christian context, just like Western Europeans were called Latins without actually being from the Italian region of Latium instead they were called Latins because of their Roman Catholic spiritual identity so many people who adopt Greek orthodoxy are spiritually Greeks, for the Greeks and Latins differ in what they consider Christian orthodoxia.
Also if you know biblical prophecy it is the sons of Japheth (meaning the European tribes) along with Shem that are going to spread the salvation of God through the whole earth, that is why God started with the Israelites a semitic people and continued with the Indo Aryan peoples, actually Japeth means to "expand" or carry, no wonder we Europeans went the furthest in every sense of the word, so there is nothing wrong with Hamites spiritually classifying themselves as Greeks or Latins, because it doesnt change their ugandian heritage neither destroys ours physically speaking.

Οι ανθέλληνες που ζούν στην Ελλάδα, Δυτική+Βόρεια Τουρκία(Μουσουλμάνοι Πόντου) και άλλες περιοχές όπου είναι γενετικά απόγονοι αρχαίων Ελλήνων(δηλαδή αληθινοί Έλληνες)δεν θεωρούνται Έλληνες λόγω κουλτούρας και ιδεολογίας, αλλά όντως είναι Έλληνες αφομοιωμένοι σε Τούρκους ή Έλληνες κομμουνιστές. Υπάρχουν σε πολλές άλλες περιοχές Έλληνες αφομοιωμένοι, όλη η Σικελία και Νότια Ιταλία αλλά και περιοχές της Λεβαντίνης, Κριμέας και Κυρηναϊκής. Στην Κύπρο είμαστε επίσης Έλληνες.

He died two years ago unfortunately. I remember watching him in a local TV station whenever he visited Crete where he got his priesthood in the 70s. I'm a "dodecatheist" and hence I don't think that Orthodoxy is synonymous to Hellenism, but I give credit where it's due. I hope there are priests in Uganda to continue his legacy.
Greek was the only western civilization which did not colonize nor see indigenous population as inferior. Greeks always treated people as equals and so did Greek Orthodox church. I think we people of Europe owe a lot to our African brothers and should help much more.

If you're still wondering this, "Greek Orthodox" or "Russian Orthodox" refers to the national organization with the broader Orthodox Church. So they are considered Greek Orthodox because that the organization they are apart of in the hierarchy of the Church. So they're really a part of the Greek Orthodox Church of Alexandra, their patriarchate.

In Othodoxy every church is part of a greater assembly that defies that church.
The foundation of this particular church on the video is done by the Patriarchate of Alexandria witch is determined as Greek orthodox. It patronage the education of the priests and founded the financial needs of this church. So it's a Greek orthodox church in Uganda with native Servants of God.
Few other small Nations can do so.

If a fetish priest translates a Bible, even if that is well done, I will stay away because I do not believe in fetishism and the spirit that stands behind it is the devil. Here’s what Origen, a disciple of the Apostles, said and which is reported by historian Daniel-Rops: "… theology is a science which is grounded on objects of faith but which draws its results from the intellectual order and which must be distinguished from revealed truths, which are the Word of God.” [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”] [Kc.19v37-38]
