Now that is what iI call a street drain and the guy did an outstanding job. it drained the street once he all the crap out of it. (Mississippi Gulf Coast, USA)
The way that water went in there was hardcore. Post 10 would have been excited to see that and report the lack of a drainage grill. That's a lawsuit just waiting to happen.
To do such a job as removing debris from a drain and get responses from around the world is amazing. Even Feranginar. Someone get a drain cover for that drain. That thing is huge. Eight rakes outta ten. Good job
Does your city not have street sweepers? Where I live in a small Canadian city, every autumn after the leaves have fallen, the sweepers go around all the mature areas and clean up the leaves so we don't have blockages like you do. If we can afford it, your city can also.
