This was filmed during the Yeti Gathering in July at Purgatory Resort in Durango, Colorado. Join legends Joey Schusler and Carston Oliver for some laps on these classic DH tracks in perfect dirt conditions. I raced DH here on "World Cup" in 2005 and just raced the Big Mountain Enduro event last weekend on the same, but modernized track. #followcamfriday bringing the Colorado racing history full-circle. This track was absolutely the best in the states back in the Norba days and with recent improvements, it made for a proper enduro track at last week's event. Big props the the trail crew for resurrecting this classic. Love your work!
I am riding my Yeti SB130lr, Joey is on SB150 and Carston is on his SB165. No bad bikes. Further evidence that it is not the car, but the driver. All bikes are fun to ride down hills at the end of the day. Get out there and make the most of the weekend. Laps on laps on laps with the homies. - Sport
Have you ridden Purg? Put this on your short list. Maybe bring a DH bike.
I'll just put on a full-body cast now and save the travel and lodging expenses.
My good buddies from High School own it. James and John Coleman! Great Family! They also own Brian Head, UT, Spider Mountain in Tx and some others I cant think of right now.
Nate, end of your video was Lynx. Your camera view gave it no justice! That pitch is extremely steep. Props to you guys for rolling those out at the bottom, not that there was any other choice.
Rode here last summer on my XC bike… I have since gotten a trail bike and watched this video and I can’t wait to go back. 🤘 sick video
Yes I live right near it
that cackle at the top of world cup was delightful.
Yesssss! Purg is so sick! You made a lot of these trails look super easy, just gives me an appreciation of how good you guys are. 🤟🏼🤟🏼
Fun times.
i love divinity so much!
Such a good Gathering weekend! Pirate and Divinty were so fun!
Indeed it was friend! Great to hang and see everyone again!
Awesome vid, place looks pretty rad! also Joey has straight tree trunks for calves...goals
Joey got calf implants as a child.
While I watch for the snappy sound tracks, the riding is outstanding!
Always a pleasure riding with these two humans.
Divinity Flow is sooooo good. Purgatory is soooo good. Can't wait to come back!
The trail crew has done an amazing job out there. Big props.
Nice to see more singletrack type trails at a "park."
You always have the best music leading into and coming out of the video. The downhill action is awesome!
Thanks 👍
Whoop, whoop! Gracias Senor Hills for another awesome adventure! Stay safe.
De nada.
Saw that cheeky no-hander at 8:49. Trails look fast and fun!
Old dog, old tricks.
Amazing per usual, sir!
Colorado sure does have the most riding.
Variety central.
The parting scene was the best
That bit was spicy in the wet, lol
On the List!
Great to see that you are constantly expanding the FF tribe with more new great riders. Joey always rips the bike parks and Carston killed it too... he had some epic saves on some of that sketch.
I'll make sure to hit it on my upcoming park trip. Looks sick!
Enjoy!
Looks incredible.
Indeed.
Purg is my hometown ski resort. So weird to see the runs I've sent down countless times but on MTB. Need to come back and ride this NOW.
So sick guys! Mad props for shredding my home mountain hard af 👊 @8.26 on the world cup is where I went OTB into the aspens lol
World Cup is legendary!
Wow! That was fun! And scary!
Awesome!
Cheers.
beautyfull trails.
Saaakkk!! Going sideways those berms🤘🏼
Awesome B)
Lovely
2:19 The Hikers going "OH SHIT!!!!!" as Nate and co go ballistic.
Almost walked onto the track in front of us. Would have been ugly, lol.
@@natehills9388 such a common tale in bike parks lol, the clueless, sometimes lost hikers straying in front of bikers. Stay frosty!

Cheers friend.
Schusler is a perfect name for a downhiller; it's also fun to say in your best German accent.
Sick Dude😎😎🤘🤘
So much fun.
Yeah boys, that was way cool! Some of that maybe over my skill level though. Definitely steep and loose.
I think my next trip out west will include Silverton and Durango, some beautiful country.
Definitely worth a visit!
woow wooow awesome!!!
Bro form where you are and you riding is awesome👍👏😊
Looove IT, FREERIDAY :)
Looks like a lot more grip than what we raced last weekend at the BME. Stage 6 was cooked! 😅
Quite the opposite actually. The steep bits were almost unrideable, lol
Yeah, if that was Sunday after the gathering, Pirate was definitely a gnar gnar slide fest in spots! But a grand day even so. 🤘
Was Lynx open?
Nate! Please record a how to corner video! Please!
Does the first one of you to get hamburger hands have to buy lunch? I notice your crew rolling gloveless. Much respect.
Colorado is the best.
so steeeeeep!
Still waiting on the chelada showdown
What trail was that called?
Purgatory it's a park
The new wood bridge drop on World Cup is so sketch that damn landing is like a bike and a half long
It works perfectly at trail speed. Not sketch at all.
Joey working on anything good? More MTB films!
Steep!
Understatement.
You know you can shred when you show up to a bike park with no pads and an open face!!
Seeeeeek
Wow, pov doesn't do those jumps or drops justice.
👏👏👏😎😎😎🤙🤙🤙👽👽👽🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
You know it's steep when you can't see the trail Nate is riding anymore because the tiny "Follow Cam Friday" square is blocking your view of it.
Steepest tracks in any bike park in the states. So good!
So, you're saving the DH bike for the rough stuff? LOL, you crack me up.
I didn't have it with me or I would have been on it, no question.
Didn’t clear the steep on linx? Lol good riding
Good luck staying upright in the wet on that one ;)
I think those eggs have expired.
You know Durango was the birthplace of Yeti… the tribe forever - sb160
