Another version of this video on my other channel with medical videos in English: • Turbuhaler (Symbicort)...

Thank you. You explained it very well, there is no room for questions on how to use it.
Thank you for this. It was prescribed by my physician and I don't know initially how to use it. Very helpful. God bless you!
Thank you so much for this video. They should have a link to your video on the packaging because their instructions weren’t clear to me whatsoever. Really appreciate it, thanks 👍
Thank you, I don't know how to use it. Trying to find how to use it, and this is the most clear explanation I get. Explain all my questions. Now I know I use it correctly and why I don't feel any powder.
Thank you! Your instruction is very clear mate! I wasn't sure if I was using it right and was going back to the chemist to ask again, your video saved me a lot of time!
Thank you. Your demonstration is very helpful
Thanks super clear. I also wasn’t sure if I clicked properly for the dose and my in-breath a bit too slow compared to yours. I noticed some residue a minute or so later, good to rinse out as you say.
Great video! I believe you need to turn the turbuhaler an additional time when priming it (doesnt matter which direction you turn first). Answering the question for people in the comments: the turbuhaler dose counter doesnt move for every dose you take, its something like every 10 doses or so. So if its not moving after a dose dont worry! Just make sure your inhalation technique is correct and you can be certain that you have received the dose :)
Thanks for clearing that up about the counter, i thought mine wasn't working because i couldn't see the counter move, i just got it, the doctor never explained that part !!
Thank you. I couldn't figure out how to use it.
You explained very well bro...
Good explanation, thank you!
I thought my is not working cuz I didn’t feel any medicine taste... now I know it’s working and I know how to use it ty.
I was thinking the same thing 😜
me too. I primed it a couple times and turned it upside down to see if it was primed and nothing came out
I got the prescription yesterday. i used it in the night and guess what I got paradoxical bronchospasm. I had to use salbutamol to relieve and get my breath back. The doctor said I might have inhaled too hard so I came to watch again how to do it properly.
Thanks a lot, the video I watched before this was confusing
Thank you I now know how to use mine properly. 👍
Perfect tutorial!
THANK YOU SO MUCH EVN MY DOCTOR ADVISED BUT NO ONE CUDNT EXPLAIN EVN THE CHEMIST..🙏
Great stuff, well done
These clicks are so confusing
Thanks, that was very helpful!
Thanks for this! Just got diagnosed with asthma but I'm not fluent in the language here so I didn't know if I was using the inhaler right (I wasn't)
Thanks ,explained very well ,
If the prescriptions 2 puffs do I have to close from the first puff and twist again to for the 2nd puff or stays open and wait 1 minute before 2nd puff
Hhmmmm thank you I can't really feel anything has gone in my mouth though, but how do I know if it finished??
Thank you... And i know now how to use it.
Do you leave it on the side after it clicks.. or after it clicks do you turn it again.. aorey if this is a dumb question
Is it important to lock the inhaler after use and how to do it.
Thank you very much!
Dear Stefan, Thank you for your videos. I have a question which can't seem to be answered by my doctor or even several Pharmacists that I have asked. I live in Denmark and use Astazenica Turbuhaler. This summer we have reached a hot summer and I always carry my Bricanyl Turbuhaler in my bag, However the Temperature inside my bag can vary and reach 77-86F, or 25-30 Celcius. The paper inside my medicine says that the heat should not go over -15-25C/59-77F... So my question is.. Is my Turbuhaler maybe not working now?
Do I have to close and twist again to open for the 2nd puff .
I used to use seretide which has a counter that go down each time i use it and can feel the powder go down to my throat. I thought it was the same with symbicort but apparently it doesn't so thank you for the video!
I cant feel nothing in my mouth or taste anything. Is it okay this is my first time
@@Gamervortex723 it's my first time too! The first couple weeks you used it (based on my experience) you can't really taste anything. But after a while you could sort of taste it, like a very small powder on the back of your throat. It took me a good 3 weeks to notice the powder and after asking my doctor, it's normal. Just make sure you inhale quick and strong like how he demonstrate it!
Thank you so much
Hello, just to ask if it works after we but the doses in to zero with error ( first time using new symbicort)
What does the top part spin for ??
Shall we have to twist and un twist the redknob every time to load the dose please.
so when it clicks its ready to use? no need to twist it back after the click? cause I've watched a different video saying when it clicks twist it back again then use it
Thank you very much.
When i take the cap off and turn it clicks right away does that mean its ready to use?
Thank you so much!
How do I get to know that I hv taken the medicine. Bcoz I m not feeling taste or any irritation
Thank you brother God bless you
thank you very much
Thank you for explane.👍
Hi,,I don't know if I'm doing Right coz I don't feel anything powder when I take it?
Thank you for the explanation! :-)
I don't know why can't they make it simple, this is very confusing to use.
Just takes a bit of practice
My inhaler is not having a clicking sound and i have taken only about 6 or 7 doses
Thank you
Sir i wanna ask about myself
My yesterday my FENO was around 100
Should i start ICS
Thank you 🙏 so much
Salamat po
What I don't like you can't see powder coming out as u take puff unlike mdi
Thank you...
you first rotated it anti-clockwise and then clockwise here and we heard the click sound at the end but the instruction leaflet present inside the box says 'it does not matter which way you turn first', so does it matter or not? can click sound be heard first or it should be heard at the end of the cycle?
I would say the second click is a bit louder and that's when you know it's ready to use.
Hi!
I have a question about the product. It is the first time that my father uses it and compared to other products he thinks he is not vacuuming anything. Because their is very little dust when it breaks up. When I do the release test actually only a few small granules up. When I do the release test actually only a few small granules come out. This is correct??
Thanks
Hi, yes actually the newer Symbicort inhalers have a powder that doesn't taste like much so that's why he may not feel it when he is taking it. He should also try to empty his lungs and inhale as forcefully as possible
How to take two doses
how much powder comes out
Thanks
wow , so you never feel it going in? I did it and I swear i though nothing happened. So Im in doubt if it happened. How can I make sure it occurred?
You can't you just gotta do the steps correctly and watch the dosage counter go down slowly.
Wishing you health.
U r thank you sir perfect Use for symbicort (Inhalar) daemo
What if i 2click the device
Can I still use it if it reaches 0? I did not know how to use it so I was twisting it frequently until I noticed a dial. From 60 it reached 40. Since this is quite expensive and I don't know if I can afford another one
you can still use it
If it reaches 0 there’s no more drugs in it. Sorry about the cost.
Hi, i did some experiment on some of my empty turbohalers. The dose counter is completely red and zero, but i tried to tap it on the nozzle upside down to see if something goes out. And yes, there was white substance coming out after even several reloads. Can someone pls tell me what are these.
They might be the drying agents but not the medication.
Hi, could you please clarify that it is necessary to lay the turbuhaler horizontal first (to release a dose) before tilting it vertically and then activating it by twisting the red section? (A first time user but I didn't tilt it as the pharmacist told me to keep it upright!!😕). Thanking you for your response.
i don't think this will be a big issue, likely the dose will still be released
@@StefanCristianStanel Great, thank you so much for your response.
4:21 thank you for explaining the dose because I'm really confused why the dose didn't go down😅 but I see my doses going 40 I think😅
Bro i have been using it for two days, but the indicator doesnt show any dip..does that mean i m using it incorrectly??
it moves slowly i think. I would just continue using it for now it's probably ok
wow dude i understand now thanks body your greatttttttttttt👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey do u think it’s safe for me I’m 17 years old no history of asthma I just been having lung inflammation for the past months and the doctor recommended me this ? Is it safe for me?
if it's doctor's prescription. they know what they are doing. i think it's safe for you since it has doctor's prescription for you
I am also 17 years old , but today i did my workout it was very intense i started to feel breathlessness but after 3 min i was back to normal , than i used that inhaler so it kinda works ✌️
what you actually did is, counterclockwise then clockwise which is correct btw. you might have confused the 2 terms.
Thank u bro
1st Twist the red piece to the left(anti clockwise) and then clockwise to hear the click
here the Dr. first rotated it anti-clockwise and then clockwise (same as what u have written) and we heard the click sound at the end but the instruction leaflet present inside the box says 'it does not matter which way you turn first', so does it matter or not? can click sound be heard on first rotation or it should be heard at the end of the 2nd rotation?
@@navneet2649 I have been using this as a treatment and prescribing it for a few years. Please read the instructions again. One side disperses the powder and the other opens the channel so you may inhale. Another way is do like I did and just open apart the container and you will see what’s going on inside. Thanks
How long Dose it take for the dust counter to go down.
it usually goes 60 40 20 so on.. So you probably need to take quite a few doses to notice it going down, it's not that precise
Is it the counter change everytime we twist the based?
No it's not that sensitive it goes down slowly 60-40-20
Thank youuu
I have a problem, injust bought my turbuhaler. I justbused it twiced. I activated it by turning clockwise repeatedly til it turns to zero, but i did not inhale to it while clicking it. Is it fixable? Does it still have pwder in there since i havent used it very well or many times just twice. How can i turn it back to 60? Thank you
Pls reply thank you.
i am not sure what happened but normally you twist clockwise, then counterclockwise until you hear the click and then you inhale (you don't inhale while clicking). My guess is that it is depleted if it reached 0 and you might need a new one sorry about that
Have got the same problem how did you fix it
@@LHDZ753 did it work same problem here
@@ngangommaxim989 Nooo but i see some powder being wasted whenever I shake it hard, I stopped using it actually, scared I might complicate myself more😬
I cant feel nothing in my mouth or taste anything. Is it okay this is my first time
yes, but you can feel the effect in few mins, particularly if you are asthmatic
I dnt know my doctor tell me that to turn it twice and take it 3times after twice click ..
What will happen if I didnt gargle?? 😅😅
By mistake my sister was playing the rotate in out in out and came to 0 indicated but she hasn't used the medication will it be there inside still?
Likely not unfortunately might have to get a replacement
@@StefanCristianStanel can use 😁 I tried
My throat almost always gets sore despite gargling and brushing.any tips.
@@TheSumangala drink water before
The number will be decrease ? Mine still 120 even i use it 3 times ... im still newbie
it usually goes down slowly, doesn't give you individual units (so may show 120 - 80 - 40 or 60 - 40 - 20 etc)
After inhaling no need to turn again right
no you shouldn't as that might actually make you lose doses from the inhaler. Just twist right then left, inhale and then put the cap back on
U r perfect 👌 thank you 🙏🏼
You're welcome 😊 thanks
@@StefanCristianStanel Question: At start first open the red button *clockwise* then anti clockwise so brother should I close red red button again after inhlar
Why does the white mouthpiece rotate
I don't know tbh but it shouldn't be an issue just how the device was designed i suppose
Thanks.sir
What number should it be on
starts full (at 60 or 120) then continues to drop to 0 as you use it
The problem with my Symbicort inhaler is that when I twist it to the right I hear the click and then when I twist to the left there is no click. Just wanted to confirm that I am using it properly. Please reply
do you feel any powder being inhaled? if in doubt i would perhaps walk into a pharmacy with the inhaler and ask the staff to have a quick look at it. hard to say what the problem is unless someone has a look at it. Also did this happen with all the symbicort inhalers you had or just this one?
Do you inhale after the click? Then why should the direction matter?
I use this for the first time for my daughter and i have the same problem, and she said it jusr like the air she breath in , doesnt taste anything
I have no idea why my dose counter isnt moving at all 😪
It goes down slowly and you don't see individual numbers normally goes down something like 60-40-20 etc
Did anyone els throat hurt and feel kinda numb ? After day 2 I got a bad throat burn
No, I don't think this is normal. Did you check with your doctor?
Like smoking a bong. Got it!
I inhaled but I’m not sure it worked!? As did t feel anything. Is this normal and also there dose counter did not go down from 60 to 59?
the dose counter is not that precise, it won't say 59 just gradually go down over time and you will see 40 at some point then continue to decrease.
Some people do not feel anything when taking symbicort, this may be normal (the powder is very fine and some people can't taste it). As long as you are doing it correctly it should be fine
Crezi ca romanii de rand nu folosesc Symbicord?
Nu stiu ce vreti sa spuneti dar am un alt videoclip pe canal in romana despre Symbicort daca va intereseaza>

@@StefanCristianStanel multumesc,am gasit doua videoclipuri in engleza si asta m-a făcut să comentez
What if i 2 click na device
Should be fine if you fully twist to the right and then to the left
Hi thanks first time using so do I need to turn clockwise and anti clockwise everytime I need to use as my doctor ask me to use once in morning and night. Or is it only the very first time need to activate and hear the click sound and after that just cover and open whenever I want to use without turning anymore
I cant deep breath i have covid, sad
One thing to be aware of when taking this inhaler (or any kind of corticosteroid inhaler) is that they can increase your cortisol levels (stress hormone). I was taking this inhaler for over a year, and it was making me overreact about everything, as though I was like a bomb about to explode. It was bizarre. And it took me a very long to realize that it was actually my inhaler causing it, when I stumbled upon a webpage about cortisol that happened to mention that steroid inhalers can increase cortisol. So then as soon as I switched to a non-steroid inhaler (Oxis 12), that behavior and feeling completely stopped. So just be aware that these corticosteroid inhalers can potentially change your behavior due to increasing your cortisol levels (stress hormone).
However this reaction is very rare and i do not recommend thst anyone stops an inhaler without medical advice. In asthma sometimes not taking a steroid inhaler can be dangerous so please discuss with your doctor

The wankers that put this on the market should go do something else.
Not necessarily for the product itself but for the painful lack of clarity of the paper instructions in the box.
For medicine the instructions have to be foolproof. And these aren’t. Not by a fucking mile.
I wasted about a dozen of doses on the floor, or wherever, and probably at one attempt I did it right and got it in my lungs.
This stuff better be good
Ban this design pls
Thank you
How often do you use the inhaler
Should be used twice daily
