  • Hello everyone, and thank you for stopping by. The folks at Boatstogo.com were not only courteous to provide this seat frame for me to review but also footage of it in the water as you guys noticed at the beginning of the video. This seat frame sits right on top of the air deck floor of your inflatable boat. It is best to place the frame in place with the air deck floor semi-inflated, with the bladders of the boat inflated, and it slides right into place. Make sure to align the frame evenly before fully inflating the air deck floor. Once it is in place, it will not go anywhere, it stays in place and does not wobble. This is a good alternative to those of you who would prefer a cushioned seat instead of the aluminum seats that come with the boat. Thank you all for watching and hope this video helps you during the installation.
    **Boatstogo suggestion**
    The folks at Boatstogo suggested using the lowest setting of the Swivl-Eze to keep the center of gravity closer to the boat. That way if a big swell hits you or you happen to take a sharp turn going fast, the boat won't spit you out.

    As always, thanks for the great content. I've wanted to add something like this to my inflatable. My I add, that there is a swivel plate that can go between the seat and the pipe that allows you to turn without remove the pin. It called a Swivel Base Mount Plate. Keep up the good work!

      Hi Eric . I finally got this seating frame for my SD365. I found that the width is not enough for stability . Is this female for Knoats only ? On my boat it’s not fitting on air deck and loose on sides. Any thoughts pls

      The folks at boatstogo suggested to keep the Swivl-eze on the lowest setting, in order to keep the center of gravity as low as possible in the boat. You can get spitted out of the boat taking a large swelll or sharp turn if the level is too high on the seat.

      @donaldmartin4620 For the aluminum floors, the stabilizing beams are what keeps the edges away from the surface.

      @@ErickMartinSucre ok that I figured but to be honest for what I paid over 2000 dollars thought the top of the tubes would be more how do you say thick they don’t feel thick maybe they are no dire I heard they have 3 layers I paid for the heavy duty ones bit so
      T see the extra layer like they show tho so will see when I take it out in the ocean that is why I bought it at that price amd thanks for the tip on the aluminum floor wianted to make sure bit it doesn’t look brand new tho I look all around wondering if they sent me a used one that someone returned not sire thanks tho

    Good video, Erick! Just wanna ask though- at the start of the video there’s a good shot of you in the boat with what looks like a long dog-leg tiller extension. It looks really handy! Are these available to buy or did you make it yourself? (If so- how?? 😁). Greetings from the UK- keep up the awesome work 🙂👍

    If you had an aluminum floor, do you think the seat post base could be bolted directly to the floor panel with the need for the tube frame structure?

    • @ErickMartinSucre
      @ErickMartinSucre  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yes, it can be done. You'll need round ended bolts so it won't scratch the pvc.

    • @ErickMartinSucre

      The older models, yes, but not the new ones. They are made for lake and rivers mostly, but will tackle 1 foot wake in the ocean. They are not made for longer trips.
