This is the first time I've seen an elimination at that level of play
If someone like watching pros game, I'l recommend to watch Gold League Summer 2019. Probably one of the best tournaments I ever watch and the best trade base pro game(1/2 Moon vs eer0 game2).
I've seen it 3 or 4 times before, but in all or maybe all but one it was when both players were close to being eliminated, so each one could legitimately think they might be able to finish off the others' base first.
Grubby had a match where an elimination occurred, maybe last week.
@@SpaghettiNoob Yes, I remember that. I didn't think I should count that as a pro game, since Grubby calls himself not pro (even though he can still take games off pro players).
Gotta love how in the first game Lyn killed the Red Drake, got Scourge Bone Chimes and sold them to train more Tauren 6:48 and then killed the other Red Drake and got a SECOND Scourge Bone Chimes 12:03. Like the game was telling him it was a gift for him.

strange game 2. I really wonder where all of Happy's gold went to? all into towers ? why he didn't force a fight when both were around 50 pop ?
If orc doesn’t want to fight it is very hard to chase them down especially with scroll of speed and Lynn’s air army. With fortify defense done destroyers are terrible at sieging bases and Lynn made the right call that his base will outlast happy’s base
Base trade is so stupid a solution, it's genius. Grubby outlined nuanced win-conditions for both players, and Lyn instead decides to take a page from the tutorial campaigns. All but certain Happy did not see that coming
@@ambion19 I'm pretty sure he saw it coming. that's why he fortified that hard with towers. Maybe even overfortified that he had no army in the end. In the past I've seen Happy just buying staff and teleporting Lich or DK with orb back home to defend in most cases instead to waste everytime a full TP scroll.

How to watch old replays.
There's the app that helps you analyze the replay version and also switch your game version. You still need to have the game files and their patches though.

Mass air so boring. A game to end without a fight shouldn't be possible at this level of play. IMHO
Just a hunch from me, but it could be absolutely impossible to design a game like this without that kind of thing happening in any level of play.
Even just high level? It may still be impossible considering a pro player can do what you all do in tutorials from 2004 for the sake of being unpredictable, and completely catch their opponents off guard.
IMHO, if a pro player mismanages their economy and ends up with no defense or no offense, their fault.
