This is awesome! My boyfriend and I are planning on selling all our things and traveling full time at the end of this summer. Similar story visiting and ended up staying for a few years but didn’t explore Saudi! That is my biggest regret but I’m lucky to have taken Arabic classes twice a week during the evenings. Mastering the Arabic language helped my career back in the States working with Saudi International Students from Al-Ula region learning English as a second language. I was their academic advisor, mentor and teacher and I’m still in contact with a few even though I’m in the States. I’m busy being a new mom now but post Coronavirus, I plan to visit Saudi with my family.

When Gail was asked about her favorite spot in Saudi, in an instant I was thinking, imagine she says Farasan Islands or somewhere in the south! And when she said it was Wadi Lajab my jaw dropped for a moment. I'm from Gizan, Farasan Islands specifically. I used to have a friend group of western people and we used to visit the island every now and then. Please Mo if you or the ladies ever want to visit Gizan please let me treat you with a trip to the Farasan Islands. You'll absolutely love it especially in the winter. Back to watching the interview!

Although I didn’t see them until we got off the ferry but I had to stop and say hello at least. I’m still processing how all of this happened!! 😂💛

Lovely guests and great episode as usual. I'm just a bit surprised you're saying that people down in the south are more hospitable than any other region in the country and you're somewhat painting it as a fact which is unfair to all other regions. Not to undermine the value and hospitality of those people in the south. I've known some of them for a long time of which I'm proud to call friends but I think you should be unbiased especially if it is a matter that cannot be measured such as this one. Keep up the good work!
