    It is instructive that Jagdeo is so concerned with Nigel Hughes.I agree that Nigel Hughes will be expected to disengage from Exxon. But is not Jagdeo and the current Attorney General defending defending the interest of Exxon, against the people of Guyana?

      @reginaldduncan6079 Reggie is all about politics, norton and jagdeo is 2 political animals, nigel is a brilliant lawyer but politics is a different animal, that is y norton said when Bharrat applied pressure nigel may want to fold, hence a hastily call presser, all us bystanders example myself in nyc could only watch on from a distance, the Guyanese who live their have to know what they want

    Four years ago I said adviseidly, anyone who thinks they can play the Americans for fools is courting disaster. By becoming the leader of the AFC, Nigel Hughes has thrown a wrench into the Politics of the PNCR. The majority of the PNCR leadership in Guyana and the diaspora quietly welcomes this, the MCC in Guyana and abroad welcomes this, so Norton should be very concerned. The possibility of Norton's party becoming subsumed by the AFC is very much in the cards. They might call it The National Congress For Change, who knows. It will have a more refined and upper class appearance and demeanor, a far cry from what is there today, which will be more acceptable and welcoming by the powers that be internationally. Interesting times are ahead of us.

      International govts like the USA do not have time with the class of the persons who make up government. All they are concerned about is whether they can be compromised or not. Class has nothing to do with it.

    This is good for Guyana. We, Guyanese, need to have this public debate between Bharrat Jagdeo and Nigel Hughes because it is good for democracy in Guyana. We need everything to come out of the closet about these politicians in Guyana.

    Nigel Huges did not vote himself in as leader of AFC the public's people voted him as their leader and never thought that Nigel Huges is a Conflict of Intrest . E got the most votes legally so what's the problem . Why stir up trouble . Jagdeo should have now make friends with Nigel and unite for the betterment of the country and share ideas that could bring the 6 races together and let's all live happily in peace . Why yuh like trouble suh Jaggie ? is it because it cheap ?

    What is in store for the poor Guyanese? Will the rich and the well to do in Guyana allow the poor in Guyana to get strong?
    Guyana is a small nation and today it is rated amongst the wealthty countries in the world. But would the ordinary and poor Guyanese ever share in the wealth? Guyana is so rich that every household should be able to afford a foreign domestic worker / servant. Would they ever realize that?

    The saying never trust a lawyer nor a politician because they are the biggest crooks in the world. Nigel Hughes is lawyer and a politician and Bharrat Jagdeo is a politician.

  • @josephwinslow7613
    @josephwinslow7613 Před měsícem

    Nigel Hughes is from elitist and bourgeoisie class in Guyana and so are some other AFC politicians like Raphael Trotman. Bharrat Jagdeo is from the political and sometimes corrupt class in Guyana. So, we need to see these men exposing each other for the benefit of democracy and the people of Guyana.
