I love roses and cats…can we clone Russell 🥰? We all need a Russell to adore us as he adores you. What a sweetheart!
Great comment 😍😍😍
Yes.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who saves the worms out of the backfill soil to stay with the new plant!! 😂😁
Nope... Definitely not the only one! 😊 I do it too👍
Lol!! I came to make this exact comment!! 😂😂😂
I always collect and set them aside so I can put them back in!!! Lol... Or if I see them crossing the concrete after the rain, I grab them and toss them over in the bed!! 😂
I planted two 10x10 ft beds and only found one worm!
I do too
I never thought of that.:(
I was watching something else and then your notification popped up... Had to switch and watched this first! Love your content
M so glad u didn't speed up the process of planting! ! We really wanna see more of such plantings!! Laura just talking and planting!!!💓💓 We all want it right??
Whoa! Laura's on🤗 Drop everything and ☕ + 👀= 👍👩🌾👍
My mom has this rose and it's stunning. The colors are constantly changing from light yellow, peach, pink, a deeper yellow. It's just beautiful and smells amazing. Definitely worth buying
Momma that sounds so beautiful how the colours change on the roses 😃
I have a zone 3 one that does that ...same colors as in the video. Its called ...Campfire.
@@margierousu468 I just googled it and it's beautiful ❤️
@@margierousu468 so glad I read your comment. I have one of the campfire. But I always thought it's called "fire cracker" 🤣 and I never understood why the name makes any sense.
I planted 3 of these in my front flower bed last year. They were sticks in a tiny can when I got them, and now they are huge, full, and absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what they do with another year of growth.
Which store did you find these.. ?? My home depot and star nursery do not carry any proven winners.. very upset about this.. 😒
@@lovingyourlifetoday I ordered them online. I couldn’t find them in store anywhere.
@@wendywilson81 ok.. thanks 😊
All gorgeous ladies energetic lovely
All looks vigrous strong, you looks like rose itself, also representing various roses hmmm
@@wendywilson81 all gorgeous hard working rose loving ladies great hard work, I feel pleasure to compliment you so rose is travelling all over hmmmm

Please do a tour of just you and your mom walking around your garden or your moms garden , I love the way y’all banter and bounce ideas of each other.
Or her mom's garden! I would love to hear some of her stories about that garden!
@@mariankay6482 omg that would be fabulous as well, I’d love to know her moms thought process she went through while creating that magnificent garden.
Yes! When they said that on the antiquing video I got excited! How fun that would be. 🙂
“They look like sherbet!” Laura you are so adorable and such a ray of sunshine! Love and Blessings! ❤️😊
I know you love your augers but seeing you with a shovel just makes me happy for some reason! 😃
Have you noticed how easily she puts in the t connector in to the tubing. Strong lady!
Ugh! Laura makes this entire process look so easy!!! I need a jackhammer, chainsaw and an entire day to put in 3 plants!! Laura, your energy and soil are my life goals!😁
I feel your pain! We have been amending our soil for 20 years and finally have areas that are slightly easier to dig in. Most of our garden is solid root 😂
I'm north of Atlanta .... red clay that makes a brick seem soft :) Wherever I dig, I've been adding gypsum per Laura's recommendation and I have worms too now. So, now before I plant, I spread gypsum and water it in. Maybe it's my imagination, but a week after that, digging holes is much easier. Give it a try!
I live in NY and when I plant something I say I'm adding to the ROCK garden.
@@planttasticcookinggardenin1561 same here!! I live in Mississippi and the pine trees own the land! Roots everywhere!!
@@d.wilbur5164 I'll give it a try! Roots are my biggest issue, then clay!
So pretty! I was hoping for a “walk away view” of the whole area at the end. This is such a pretty spot!
Me too, we never saw all three planted. Editor must have been tired, lol, OR this is another one of those videos that Aaron never watched, hahaha.
Audrey and Nancy, at the very end from 9:26 to the end she is standing there talking about the roses and you can see all three and the entire area wherethey are planted.

I used to be intimidated by roses because I’ve always heard that they can be problematic but the more I watch you and the more confident I am to grow them. These are absolutely beautiful. If I spot these at my local garden centre, I may have to buy them.
Whenever I need motivation to get out in the garden I check out what Laura is doing then I go out and dig!
Now I am gonna have to put that on my list of plants to get...you really do feed my addiction. ha ha ha.
Hello Kendall how are you doing today ?
"This looks like a good spot" LOL!! I save my wormies too, sometimes I take them to my veggie garden. Those Roses are gorgeous!!!
7 dislikes? Who are you people who dislike planting beautiful flowers? To see a passionate gardener who feeds our souls daily with beauty. What’s there to dislike? I’m gonna pray for you.
"I'm gonna pray for you" - You gave me the biggest chuckle with that one Amoi Joy :D
Seriously! However, I did hear recently that a thumbs down doesn’t affect a channel negatively because it still counts as an interaction, so the joke is on them!
There’s trolls that do this all over CZcams.
I really don't get it. The title tells them what they are going to see so if they don't like it, why did they click on it in the first place.
people with negatively are found everywhere. they just want to stand out
I added this rose to my PW idea board a few weeks ago. It’s gorgeous!!! I am so excited for you to have these!!! 👍🏻
My garden is a work in progress. We need trees, shrubs and perennials!
I have a wish list too of plants -- the only challenge sometimes is finding them, in addition to the fact that my garden beds are quite full. Time to create a new garden bed!
Good morning, Laura ☕️ What a beautiful Rose! Just might have to add that to the list 📝 ... the ever growing list! 🤣 Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈
Oh so beautiful! I’m looking forward to seeing the lilac refresh. We did this to some huge purple sage bushes and they are rebounding nicely.
I agree! I'm looking forward to see Laura get to that Lilac. I dragging my feet on doing mine and would love to see the process on an older tree
@@jennifermathewson1904 oh me too, I have two huge ones that need a good pruning!
The overgrown lilac would be a great teaching tool for all of us to watch.
Yay! Plant spotlight.
Edit: I do the same thing with the worms. Like, "sorry I disturbed your home, buddy. You go back over here by my new plant."
Same here! Always talking to something in my garden. :)
@@brendadonaldsonsarty2325 Hahaha same here..... I talk to the plants, worms, birds, chipmunks, myself, the sun.... so basically just myself 🤣 Crazy lady in the garden.
@@tracymiller1054 Amen!! My husband says I talk to my plants more than to him LOL

G' morning! 🌞 omg... the owls! For a moment I was thinking it was our owls outside then realized it was coming from the tv once I paused it to go get my tea! Lol
Actually, that was Mourning Doves.
It was so nice watching the entire planting rather than seeing it in fast motion. It gave me time to think through doing this for my garden.
A pleasant good morning to you Laura and to all Garden Answer viewers. Those roses look incredibly beautiful! Just right for my morning coffee...
I loved the background sounds and the pace of this video. Felt like I was in the garden.
New gardener here, these are beautiful, my two roses are growing strong. May need to treat myself to this beauty.
That’s one of the most beautiful roses I’ve ever seen 😍
Oh dear I’ve just caught myself saying ‘stop that’s the best side’ of the Rose bush, I’m now talking to Laura through the TV 🤦🏼♀️
Please tell me I’m not the only one who talks to the tv 😊
Oh my goodness the peachy pink & yellow colour is gorgeous 🥰 they really brighten that area....perfect xxx
Good morning! 🌻🐝
It’s afternoon here
Hurrah our sunshine (Laura) is here, my day starts when i see your videos though its already 5:06pm here now.
You are an hour away from being on the opposite side of the world from me. Her video showed up here at 6 a.m. here in the Texas panhandle.
Amazing, Laura is loved around the world! ❤️🌵
I love my six Oso Easy Italian Ice roses! They are the best disease resistant roses in our hot & humid summers. What a stunner!
Always waiting for your uploads, how I wish i can do planting like yours. From Philippines here 🇵🇭
Is it not possible in the Philippines?! I hope you get to soon.
@@alexishodgson7624 there are varieties of plants that laura plant that i so love but hard to grow here. Anyway thanks Alexis.
Really enjoyed Laura planting these roses. I liked that the video was not speeded up so I could enjoy watching her plant. Thank you 😊
I'm currently in lockdown in Aus and look forward to your videos everytime I hop into bed. The highlight of my night! Thanks for your uplifting and beautiful videos, getting me through tough times by watching you and your breathtaking garden. Thankyou
Awe, that's the sweetest
Hi Natalie, I'm another Australian who loves seeing the videos come in of an evening here in Sydney. Hope you're doing OK in lockdown and will be out soon!
That planter in the circle is glorious!
Absolutely gorgeous roses. Love that color combo. I always try to put the worms back too 😆.
The roses are such a beauty ! Wish I could smell them haha .
Hello Marieke how are you doing today ?
@@Walter_Nicolas Great! 😁
@@marieke74 ohh that's nice so where are you from if i may ask?
@@Walter_Nicolas The Netherlands 🌻
@@marieke74 Wow that's nice well im from Poland but live here in Cleveland Ohio so how is the weather over there?
It's so odd to look out and see the lawn gone! But really looking forward to see all the new structure going out there.
Beautiful roses!! Also, I love how gentle Laura was with the worm... I do that too!! 😉
I really like how this video isn’t sped up. I like that you explained while you planted. Really nice video.
When Laura spread the mulch back over the first area... I literally said, "dang." You can't even tell! Must level up my cleanliness when planting :)
This was by far my favorite rose to grow, and the smell was fantastic! It was left with our house when we moved. I will be getting more for the new house!
Hello how are you doing today ?
Good morning!!!
Great info on the roses, and Russel was so cool trying to get some petting while you are filming! He is awesome! The garden looks fantastic!
Good morning, Good morning ☀️ I have the Oso easy double reds and they are growing beautifully. Gorgeous red blooms. I love ❤️ my 🌹 I’m here in zone 9a I live in a very humid climate and my roses do very well! My husband and I water our roses about twice a week. Oh, and fertilize fertilize. I fertilize about every 2 to 3 weeks, if the roses are repeat bloomers. Espoma Rose Tone works great (love it)!!
Good to see you troubleshoot the drip tubing! Drip tubing is kinda scary lol.
That rose is just so sweet! That is going to be a really nice area right there. Oh, I love it!
These roses are so beautiful, they dont even look real 😍
You’re fearless with your drip tubing and nippers!
Beautiful! Even my husband was like "Wow".
That Rose is amazing. I have mostly shade and I've not attempted roses. But my neighbor has some gorgeous ones right at the edge of the property and so I get to enjoy hers. But if I could plant some I would definitely go for that one. Can you please do another video on cleaning up the Lilac bush? I know you did one in the past on the other side of the house but I would love to see this area with the lilac cleaned up. Everything there is looking so beautiful. And I love how you create a view through those old lilacs when they're pruned up. And thank you for going slow with the planting. Sometimes you have a lot of planting and speed it up which I understand you don't want the video to be too long. But it's good to see the actual planting process in real time. I actually learned something today watching you plant. Thank you so much for all you teach us and how you encourage us with our gardens. You are a blessing!
I’m so excited to see the lilac pruning!! Waiting for it!
Laura: wait for it... wait for it...
Gorgeous roses! LOL at around the 7 min mark, I thought that cooing dove with Samantha at first!!
Hello Sheryl how are you doing today ?
Russell is such a loving cat! He just loves to be with his mama and supervise!
Laura, I loved getting down in the dirt with you in this video. It felt different and better. It felt so detailed being up close like that. Thanks again for all that you two do to make gardening so special.
Those are beautiful roses. Loving Russell!!
Laura, Your a natural. The camera loves you. You are a star.
So beautiful! I have a similar rose called Peach Lemonade. But yours looks much more stricking haha i love this area of your garden!
So glad your mom is doing well. You are an amazing daughter and why wouldn't you be with a mother like yours ❤
Wow, what a beautiful comment, how are you? I'm Paul and I want to be your friend and I'll be happy if you accept my friendship. If you don't mind, you can leave your WhatsApp, line or gmail and I can add you. Let's talk. Thank you 🙏
Love those roses! I don’t have enough sun for them, but I love them.
Hello Gloria how are you doing today ?
🌹Yes! Good morning Laura and viewers. It will be a great day - coffee with Laura, rose bushes, and y’all makes getting up a little easier. I’m going to honor the day by being kind and full of enthusiasm like Laura … but coffee first! 🥰😊❤️
Dee Zahm - there is no kindness without coffee first ;)
So glad you said you can't over fertilize! I was wondering that a few minutes before you mentioned it.... because I get a little over zealous when I throw in a handful when I'm planting 😂 Thanks for reading my mind! I also set aside any earthworms I find when planting .... and put them back in when I backfill. And I also talk to them. Lol 🤷♀️
good moring🙌🏻🌿💐
Great video! Yes, perfect plant in perfect spot! I loved the pace of this video💕🌸🌿
OMG.. those roses feel like a tall, cool glass of icy pink lemonade!
Your so blessed on having a almost rock free soil, here in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico where i live is so difficult to make a hole because is full of rocks, clay, and roots almost no matter where.
Hi Laura these roses look stunning, and it is so lovely to hear the doves in the back ground,
while you are in the garden it so peaceful. thanks for sharing your lovely garden it coming a long beautifully.
Have a great week and thank you both for taking us on a wonderful journey.
watching your You tubes has really inspired me thanks for your wonderful encouragement. Cheers to all.
Where I live, if you're in the city and there are hundreds of them, they're pigeons. If you're in the suburbs and there are only a couple of them, then, for some strange reason, we call them doves. 😀
@@Bamboo4U2 Pigeons and doves are two different things, but that’s funny!
@@cynthiafisher9907 what's the difference? No joke. Serious question. Google says there's no difference.
@@Bamboo4U2 Well, you learn something new every day! You’re absolutely right! I looked it up too, and the birds that we call pigeons(rock doves?) are in the same family with the ones we call doves(mourning doves). They look very different to me, so I guess I never questioned that they were different birds. Apparently there are 300 species! Thanks for the input!
@@cynthiafisher9907 but I understand the sentiment. In the suburbs and rural areas, their coos are peaceful and soothing but in the city, they're a plague, lol. Like seagulls, I've heard them both referred to as "rats with wings."
Love the morning dove noise in the background.
Such beautiful roses, and also very pretty lamium with the soft pink blooms.
I love the four I planted in the fall. They have been blooming like crazy. Happy I chose them they make the full section of the fence line bright and cheery.
How long between the rebloom period? Do they flower out nicely during their second/third flushes of blooms? Any help you can give is appreciated.
They’re SO PRETTY!!! These are what I have always wanted roses to look like!!! Now I know they are real and I must have some!!!
They're so pretty. They remind me of roses in old 70s to 80s generic rose paintings
Me: oh dang, a drip line....guess I can't plant here.
Laura: cut cut, snip snip.....problem solved...
Oh those roses are gorgeous!!! Thank you for taking a more normal pace to planting these to show it's a bit more involved than when the video is sped up. Love starting my mornings with you!
I had one of those roses in my hand just the other day and I put it back , I couldn’t make up my mind and walked away, I’ll have to go back and hope it’s still there, yes , it’s a beautiful rose
You are DEFINITELY blessed to have rock free soil...that and clay makes planting a nightmare here in my garden in Raleigh ~ I’m always so envious how easily you dig a hole!
I must have this! The color is amazing on it! I appreciated that they left the video in real time for the planting. It felt like we were right there just chatting with Laura while she planted.
So pretty! Love the color and size of the flowers.🌷🌻🌷🌻
A cool, breezy morning and those mourning doves cooing in the back ground was what I feel a garden should be in the morning! I think I need these roses in my life!
Good morning dear Laura from Canada. I just planed one two days ago.. It is beautiful and full of blooms already, just love it. Thank you for all you that you share .Thank you.🤗
Oh my, those rose bushes have the most beautiful colors ever!!! I will need those!! The space it gorgeous Laura!🌷🌸🌷
