Just gonna say Bricky is slowly building a Warhammer media empire and is lowkey a remarkable businessman for getting this bullshit to actually work/be profitable.

I remember subbing to his main channel in like... 2013, maybe? Back when he did League content. Then I moved on from League and to my delight so did Bricky, and right into the next hobby phase of my life! Dude is a grinder, he deserves the success.

As entertaining these episodes are, I kinda wish the camera was just slightly angled so we could see the models bit easier and see the situation better.

The moment the Custodes squad I shouted "IT'S MY BOYYYYYYS" X'DD that is SO GREAT, I love Garret SO MUCH X'D
Love that the graphics has a lightning bolt as a background for the Custodes, and a Lasgun barrel for Astra Militarum.
However, my suggestion is to actually have the Army going first on top in the sidegraphic for the top-down view.
Also, since Garret was also always standing on the right and Bricky on the left, the armies should have also been switched in the lower-third graphic.
Love the noticeable impovements already! Looking forward to future games, just hope you guys dont burn yourself out!

Bricky, this is a wonderful channel, and I don't even play Warhammer table top. I think it would serve a lot better if you had a pop up maybe in the top left or right showing the model that is currently taking actions. I know this would be a lot more editing but the models are like half the reason people love warhammer 40k. like taking a pic of each after the game (not in game shots of them).
The Check Dice really fucked with me, i never realized theyd mirror like that perfectly
congrats on the game it was a fun one. just wanted to say I really liked if you showed of the army's while they were talking not the lists on the screen so we cant see them. even if there are unpainted, makes it hard to follow because they went left to right. and not in the order of the lists.
Yeah, I'd look more into framing and the rule of thirds, gotta make sure everyone's got enough head room.

Suggestion: Leave the dice camera in the middle left with the Army CP/Missions, and do a more minimalistic turn marker so it is always on and don't block the battle view
So the side the dice comes is equivalent of the army on top or bottom
heroic intervention only works now if your opponent charges so 2 opposing units can literally stand next to each other as long as knowone charged the strat doesn't get to happen.
Could you guys move the dice tray camera to the top half of the capture? It blocks the center terrain pieces in its current position at 16:22.

Haven't seen the video yet, but an escalation league started at my FLGS and the first match was IG (me) vs Grey Knights in a Combat Patrol fight.
Grey Knights chose to field 5x termies, 5x Paladins (or w/e they're called) and 1x Terminator Libby.
I fielded my box.
At the end of turn 5, of the 11 grey knights, 2 terminators died with 1 on 1 wound remaining, and 1 paladin died with 1 wound remaining.
Of my 28 men composed of 20 shock troopers, 5 guys in command squad, 2x field ordnance battery and missile launcher and armoured sentinel, I lost 44 shock troopers, 2 of the command squad, and the sentinel had 3 wounds remaining for a grand total of 46 dead men and crippled sentinel.
I won the match xD

Hey guys, just a piece of feedback from a degen casual battle report watcher: The less top-down cam, the better. Also the frontal-view makes a lot of the battlefield hidden from the viewer and isn't the best angle for our situational awareness - you're nice looking dudes don't get me wrong, but makes it harder to follow - it's always more fun to watch from a third person view following each attacking unit, accompanied by the ocasional top-down during movement phase and frontal-view at end of each turn for your commentary, but not much more than that.
I know having a dude always holding cam is a lot of work if you livestream too, so instead think about this setup: A huge 6-7ft diameter PVC ring wire-mounted from the ceiling on top of the battlefield and parallel to it, with a remote controlled camera gimbal that moves around that ring (plus a counter-weight on the opposite side of the gimbal, so that the camera doesn't shake the whole ring frame while moving) that way whoever is controlling CP/interface can also double as the camera-man, giving watchers a neat dynamic "TPS/isometric experience during the shooting/charging/fighting phases that isn't just a bog standard top-down or frontal view.
I know I'm being crazy, having a dude holding cam would be easier at that point, but I'll leave this idea here just in case one of you gets WAY too drunk one day and decides to try this out.

I have a custodes army just like the one shown and a blood angel army which will be a lot of kitbashed death company with infernos pistols, jump packs, and chainsword. There are also some original box DC dreadnoughts, about 4 squads Primaris intercessors with new the bolter pistols as well as chainswords, and transports in case I wanna switch it up (droppods/Repulsor). I love faces unless leaders of squads, chaplains with skull helmets, fire weapons, box dreadnoughts, onslaught Gatling cannons, the new bolter pistol cause proportions, the black rage, and of course chainswords. Kinda like if charging blood angels met salamanders with the black rage being very prevalent in my chapter.
I like the straight forward camera angle alot but maybe you could try and have the dice tray camera at the bottom left or right så we get to see more of the playfield, I think it would be better than to see your unused tape measures lying around.

Yesss, finally Bricky playing Gaunt's Ghosts! This is what 40K is all about.
Maybe add vfx of lasers and bullets going between the two squads that are firing at each other to give better representation of what's being attacked

I believe that youre allowed to pick the first 2 tactical objectives. “If a player wishes to use tactical missions they should instead select any two secondary mission cards from their deck that do not have the fixed mission symbol”
No that part is just to indicate to your opponent that you're using tactical missions rather than fixed, after that you put the two cards into the secondary deck and draw on your first command phase
later on you put those two back in the deck and draw two new ones, it's so your opponent doesn't know what you'll choose tactical or fixed

Do you mean his actual infantry squad or his Cadian shock troops? Because Cadian shock troops can take 2 Special weapons per 10 Guardsmen. And you can take every battleline infantry unit in the guard up to 20 Models per unit

Need to have the 40mm objective marker outlined on the objective mats. Models can't end a move on top of them, so Bricky's Sentinels at 49:00 should have ended their charge differently.
GW rolled back that change recently. Objective markers are no longer impassible terrain.
@@isaachaahr8691 Can you link where they said that? As far as I can tell, Core Rules pg. 58 says "Models cannot end a move on top of an objective marker." Neither the Rules Commentary nor the FAQ mention anything to the contrary, from what I can see.
