#CDawgVA #ludwig - Zábava
seeing ludwig spend like an hour on a machine (that is probably rigged) and have the staff come over 4 different times to fix it was just the most entertaining thing ever
And he doesnt understand how it work
I work at a place similar to this, I hate coin pushers, they break so often… idk who got it off the ground but the only reason they stay(likely) is because of how much money they get, they are hella annoying
I like how the first thing in Connor's mind is paying the Mouse tax
You mean the cheese tax
Lud figuring out how to sumimasen in America is so fucking funny. I thought for sure he'd fail.
I worked at r1 for several years and the best games to win a lot of points would be Angry Birds, Pearl Fishery, Tons of Tickets and the new game Smash Stadium which pays out cards like crazy. Also Ludwig is super lucky to have seen the whole set of cards on Wizard of Oz, Toto is the rare and rares are hardly ever seen on the playing field for coin pushers. Hope this helps someone :)
I have a round one near me and I'm def using this advice. Can we actually as for help with the cranes there too?
I was high off my ass at Dave and Busters played the angry birds game and did it in one shot winning the jackpot. I was so confused. I'll also add that the subway surfers game is great you can easily get 500 by getting all the letters (just don't be bad like Connor) and collecting tons of coins. You need maybe 3-4 runs but it's not too bad.
We have a Pirates of the Caribbean coin pusher in my area and Blackbeard is the rare. I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN IT. I asked an employee about it and they said at one point some kids had it and traded it in not knowing how rare it was. I'm starting to think it doesn't exist.
I have never been here but was screaming at the screen to check out the childrens simple games. They always have the highest ticket output because kids have to win prizes somehow.
@@GSpacmanvice We never had this one at my location but it’s typical that there’s only one or two rares per deck when it’s restocked, we still got a few groups a week that got a full set from different machines though. I hope you find the rare! It’s usually 3/4 of the way through the deck so maybe you could check the card levels?
I love how now Connor is forever forced to pay the Mouse tax
Conner and Ludwig's best friend dynamic is just the best in the industry
Love the video quality of this stream. Lud def hooked up Connor with the cams. Thank youuuu.
Why are the ppl in his chat so funny "Connor switching tf outta his hips", "fruity ass walk" what does that even mean lmao
boy needs to swing that dumbtruck of an ass around
Kudos for really upping the quality of IRL streams with this one!
Man gotta love Connor stepping up the quality of his live streams in perticular the audio. Last time they went to Dave & busters it gave me a migraine
Fun stream but please people do not be like the guy at 2 hours 7 minutes and 28 seconds who admits to watching the stream recognized the place Connor was at and rushed to meet him.
I get accidentally running into your favorite creators and asking for a picture or something, but trying to find them based on current location is weird and should never be tolerated.
You watch fast c.c
Yeah, don't admit to watching and rushing like a rookie, lie and say it was a coincidence! /s
a bit cringe, but I can understand how the isolated will feel connection with an entertaining creator, and want to meet them. However that is what established meet and greets are for. Anything else is fucking creepy.
i said it before. connor already said he's not gonna greet stream snipers and ignore them (tho he doesnt always do it). if this kind of shit keeps up he going to just stop talking to fans at all outside of closed paid events. look what happened to felix, he had to stop taking selfies with people bc mfs where just waiting at his doorstep until he did it. now he just talks to ppl off camera with no records taken (but he actually have a conversation which is pretty cool) and it kinda solved the problem.
love connor and lud collabs AND the production quality is amazing. we in for a treat!
Oooh, I love these types of livestreams!!!
I used to work for round1 and I can say that this location is rigged af. The kung-fu panda should have a 500 jackpot not 100.
i like it that connor is holding cinnamon roll at the last part of the video walking around
It would be awesome for you two to compete again with a better understanding of ticket games that leans toward more skill than luck! Fully learning specific ticket games will carry over to all other ticket arcades unless they're poorly maintained(like the bean bag one). There was probably a regular goer that was just really good at Kungfu Panda and got the jackpot nerfed to the state it was there. Wizard of Oz breaking down is also the standard US Round1 experience. Ludwig running into a Toto black dog card is really lucky. If only Connor discovered Power Roll first instead of crash which is almost entirely muscle memory and positioning. Thanks for such an awesome live stream archive! Looking forward to maybe one day you guys do a video for the medal games for Round1 in Japan in similar format as well!
I'd love a vod for each of their povs :)
I would love too see another video like this
I like how Connor thought the Kuma plush was worth $50.
That's probably true in Japan, but USA is expensive plus shipping
Wow love the effort you put in your livestreams on twitch ❤
The way Conner really just wanted that pogo stick
If the person switching audio and cam minds the conversation it would be perfect. Very good stream and would probably be underrated in the future. 7.9/10
Ludwig with a fanny pack gives me 90s dad vibes 😂
It's so funny seeing the arcade people in the comments going like "No no! Some of these games are great! Kung fu panda was just nerfed and the beanbag machine wasn't maintained!" I'm glad y'all have good jackpots and machines with beanbags not stolen from them but i've never seen an arcade care enough for that
Not even mentioning that 2 of the kung fu drums have wonky sensors
What a gem… all of it. This episode, Zack and Dr. K. I’m feeling really proud of Asmon in a weird parasocial way after listening to all that. Great guy.
If anyone has never played the stacker game, that last row is rigged and depending on the machine, the hit mark for the tile you need is 1 to 2 squares off from the direction you are going. It is beneficial to stack on the sides and not the center.
There was a machine a few years back at my local beach that had one and the prize was $200. The beach is a tourist trap so obviously the games room was making bank off the tourists. But me and my brother spent the weekend and over teh course of a few trial and error and found the offset of the machine and walked out with $600 cause the games room told us we weren't allowed to play it anymore. We probably lost about $50 trying to figure it out, but it was worth it lol. We went back teh following summer and the prize was changed and no longer offered money, instead it offered a ton of tickets instead and the offset had changed :(
We could have been sumimasen-ing all along if we only tried!
Love your crane and arcade
Games videos! ❤
This stream was amazing poor Connor's luck in Arcade games ran out in America 😂
His specialty is in crane games
I knew Ludwig was gonna go back to the Monopoly machine
That stream sniper that said "omg it's you! Your the person I've been looking for (nod) hasn't ever been laid his entire life. Stalker vibes fr
Ludwig is soo patient 😂
1:48:02
[Connor mistakes football with baseball] *classic*
Deal or no deal is the best game to get tickets, if you follow the cases when they swap you can speed thru and get jackpot every time
I watched the entire thing and he gets a pogo stick out of everything he could've gotten
How did I miss this
I watched that tower game at 0.25 speed and it actually just skipped the last pixel
Let's go I love these videos
Connor has such a sassy walk
Peak content 👌
1:30:01
[Connor sinks ping-pong bullseye]
14:28 Connor spoke what was on my mind lmao
Nice vid
book book book
Man I remember having a strat with Connor's wheel one where I found out that the wheel could spin consistently, so I kept doing "mini-tugs" to position the wheel to where I want it, then do the consistent spin to get the 1000 tickets. I don't know if that's been fixed or not, or maybe the machine I played on back then was just broken, but that got me some good shit.
As someone who is fully obsessed with Round 1, throughout this whole stream, I just kept thinking about how I wanted to write a guide for Connor about how each game works and how to maximize his ticket earnings! Although I spend a fair amount of time (and money) on the claw machines, definitely no stranger to the bonus balls in the mega drop (19 is a lot at once) or that the tailgate toss is impossible with only 1 beanbag. Also, in down the clown, you can easily get the jackpot every time as long as you have at least 9-11 balls and you always have to go for the top row first, (30 points per clown) then the middle row (20 per clown) which will bring the top back up again.
Seriously though, Connor, next time, hit me up and I'll give you a walk through of the entire place! 😂
of the games they had available probably marble carnival was the best for tickets, I didn't see pearl fishery but that's also crazy for tickets
This was a great stream. But, if you're going to stream snipe, don't be like these guys (1:57:38) (2:07:28). Don't run up to them and be like *_"OH MY GOD!! I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!!"_* or be like *_"Yeah, so, I have been watching the stream and I knew exactly where you would be."_* That's just stalkerish behavior.
Ludwig calling that Park Place was wild, but Connor landing Boardwalk was ridiculous.
When did arcades turn into casino training camps for kids? Every time I find an actual video game at an arcade nowadays its like a rare event. Something you play for fun and not to trade in monopoly bucks for a plastic spongebob ring at the end of the day.
around the mid 90s give or take the "ticket"/gamble games became more and more prevalent and never stopped. it coincides with the 32-bit gen coming up when we got the "arcade experience" at home (not actually but if you're old enough you remember the pitch), so the games became less of an attraction by themselves.
what you couldn't have at home: the joy of fucking gambling for kids
it's a shame.
in japan you find a bit of more focus on real games (like rhythm games or some physical experiences, they have a niche but loyal audience) but most of them are just scams like crane games or gatcha
@@bzipoli its so weird because its actually a unique and fun experience to go to an arcade with a group of friends and just play some time crisis or some fighting games, racing games, ddr, etc and its just getting more and more rare to be able to have that experience at all. You'll find like 2-3 decent places in a major city if you're lucky and if you're not in a major city, good luck. Tourist trap places always have the gamba style arcades.
Around about the time console gaming annihilated the arcade industry forcing them to pivot to baby gambling
@@Zynnix Round 1 has a good selection of non-ticket games, especially more niche genres like rhythm games and fighting games. A lot of the other chains in the US like Dave & Busters are almost entirely ticket games and have been that way for about as long as I can remember.
10 bands, that's actually pretty amazing from Ludwig! Connor well... You tired 😂
these guys have coined the phrase “do a sumimasen” 😂
final time
riiiight
Love the ingenuity in the stream, but I don't know how I feel about that bottom screen especially when someone's trying to talk
Hey Connor and Ludwig u should watch Arcade Matt a lot of the games that you played he's really good at. He can show you how to really beat them.
American ludwig meet British ludwig. This is going in to the history books.
Is that a Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction pic
2:48:30 lol good timing in the scuffed call lol, it even had a bitrate drop right when he fell
i loved the coin pushing machine when i was a kid. but watching it? it's like watching paint dry!
Haha I personally liked it. Something about coin pushers really activate my monkey brain. So satisfying when the last cards dropped in a bunch like they did.
BONUS BALL
Was surprised to see the Hikaru cameo towards the end
Never go for those games that push coins over the egde to get prizes, they have the platform slightly slanted upwards so you have a significantly harder time actually getting anything to drop
absolutely all the games are rigged in some way or another, don't worry
it's like gamble, the point is entertainment while you have the illusion of winning
@@bzipoliWhich is why I don't like American arcades. Why do they have to go through so much rigging, and for what? So you have to end up spending $400 on a $40 pogostick? Its already a scam, even if you do win jackpot. At least in Japanese arcade games, you fight for the prize directly as your reward with no ticket bullshit.
@@jimbob7319ll are scammy because the crane itself is rigged, you probably know this already. but the conversion rate is pretty bullshit for sure. it adds another layer so people think they're winning (this happens on this video right here):
- oh i spent 1 and i get 9 tickets
your brain think "oh 1 ticket for 9 tickets I'M winning" but it's 01 CREDIT for 9 tickets and the credit value can fluctuate (1 dollar for 7 credits on the video) and the ticket value is absolutely meaningless because it can change at any given time and the prizes itselves do not match their real prizes when converted.
like i said, you gotta go with the mindset of playing some games to have fun and spending the money as entertainment knowing you will lose all the money. you give away the money for the entertainment value back. like going to the cinema.
japanese arcades with prizes are the same, you end up paying 60 dollars for a 10 dollar plushie. there's no winning in the longrun, just like a casino. you just go to have some fun and for the thrill
(this is my opinion, it's ok if you don't share the same one, i respect it)
@@bzipoli Some games are rigged more than others though, I've won several games but I've never even seen someone come close to anything worth it with the slanted coin dropper thing. I won an mp4 player off a Stacker game in the mid 2000's for example
I've gotten the Carinval 3,000 Ticket Jackpots 2 Times in one trip to Round 1. It's not Super hard and is one of the few Card collecting games that you actually can win.
2:30:35 Oh poor Connor lost twice 😂
I like that we still have arcade options in America but I hate that it's Round 1 because it's such a rip off. I mean look at the prize prices. You'd have to spend way too much to win things that were worth it. Plus the crane games are 100% rigged.
This is basically gambling
Innovation
Those monopoly games are super rigged lmao.
connor give me band ptsd with the one more time
2:38:26 I think the witch escaped the game
Yo Jun my brother (sister?), are you planning on uploading that disneyland stream or nah?👀
Really good seems to play a double ad every 5-7 minutes.
WTF! I go to this Round 1 all the time. It's the one at the Burbank mall. It would've been cool to see them there
I once said to myself "I'd be happy if I get to see an uncut version of one of his Crane Games vids, just the full 3 hours" that old one with lud kinda didn't count but... damn... the switch cam is kinda trippy for the eyes but... cool stream ahead, I bet
Best game is the spaceship. 1 token 3balls 10,000points.
I hope that Conner never discovers Las Vegas!
57:10 dis is my copium 😂lol fr
Fair play bro 52:35
You can usually use suica card in Japanese arcades
Camera crew didn’t show us the score. They get 1 star.
2:45:09 My cousin saw him and rushed to take a picture with him!
logwig
auction that fanny pack connor
1:57:40 ....wtf some rando touches Ludwig.....
Seeing Ludwig hound on Connor for his white privilege, being the one who sumimasen'ed how many times again? Truly peak comedy duo.
I wish there was not jump cuts. I was intrested in what the other was doing 90% of the time
Imagine cheating an extra $100 and still losing lolol
Is this what a backrooms video is like?
Oh man, i was addicted to the stacker game for so long, can confirm is super rigged
6:12 Gen-Kai game?🤔
Beany 48:41 bagz 35:30
The power of the sumimasen does not work in America lol
this is scuffed as hell
Chick pea 2:49:52
1:37:39 bro you must have some luck with you
damn he really got a crew 2:45:28
This isn't your typical IRL stream on a phone. Ludwig got an entire company for things like this.
Its kinda funny watching this I used to play arcade games in the 80s and was an assistant for fixing the things, I would never play them now, they were all rigged then of course they all are its not profitable and would be illegal for tax reasons if they were really down to luck and skills and just random, but back then the chance computers were a lot more simplistic with only a few settings, everything was physical, the reels in the fruit machines and so on, so they couldn't be changed ever unlike with a computer screen. as I said its just funny, Ludwig has no idea how a coin pusher works and that one was obviously rigged from the start, with the stacks of coins and the whole idea of getting cards out of them rather then coins, light items with a large surface area yeah good luck with that no better way to make sure someone shovels their money in, but at least he was consistent, CDawg absolutely demonstrated the curse of the gambling addict here getting totally sucked in and forgetting its all rigged, if there is one piece of advice I have for him it is if it lets you win a mid range of points, walk away, if it gives you the top points walk away, any machine that gives you a good pay out once is doing so as a come on to get you hyped that your luck is in and you can get more and shove more cash in, trying to do that, win once, walk away try the machine next to the one you won on, let a few other people shove their money in it before you try again. the house always wins its the law.
Garnt? 7:07

The thing with American crane games is they usually are set to give u the prize after a certain Amount of plays. Which is kinda lame
