Exploring Ireland | 10 Day Road Trip Itinerary | City Tours, Castles, Causeway Coastal Route & More!
congrats on your marriage thank you for your kindness towards our country. I hope you have a long and happy life together.
Haha I’m from Dublin and I just watched this whole thing and loved it. Really well put together. Glad you enjoy your stay and best of luck with your marriage
Get in there.
That’s amazing! Thanks for watching ☺️
Not even a third of the way through this video, and I have to tell you that I'm enjoying it. I'm leaving in just a few days to go to Ireland for a a two week trip, and I've been, as one does, watching Ireland tourist videos obsessively.
Yours is by far the best video I've seen. You've found things to do and sites to see that I haven't seen in any other video, and presented it respectfully and informatively. You're the kind of couple I would be happy to spend a vacation with. I hope other like minded folk find your video. Loving your video tour so far, staying for the rest. Cheers and slainte!
Thank you so much!!! We have been blown away by the feedback on this video it truly warms the heart. We are planning to go back and make another video! ❤️
Great job putting this video together, as I can’t imagine how much footage you had to go through! Congratulations and thank you for taking us along with you on your honeymoon to Ireland. So beautiful!
It was a lot of footage 😂 it’s hard to keep it the videos short when we want to share so much. Thanks for watching 😀
Hi i'm from France.i saw your movie because i learn english and i travelled in ireland next summer.
I very enjoyed your movie.i wish you a long and beautiful life thank you
Thank you so much!! Ireland is amazing :)
A simply spectacular honeymoon. Thanks for sharing it. (And BTW Sky, your outfits were beautiful, and fit right in with the scenery.)
Thank you so much!
Brilliant thank you. We moved from England to Northern Ireland last year. We've stayed at Cabra Castle, it was ace, done the GOT tour, Causeway, but still exploring..Loving it here!
Amazing! We can't wait to go back :)
was in ireland in Thurles & Killenaule 2006 as pharmacist ...always gorgeous
So many good memories from my 15 day trip in October to Ireland. Good video thanks for the upload.
Brilliant review looks like you had a blast
Incredible job with this video! It was so insightful and helpful. Thank you for all your hard work!!
loving all the positive feedback we are getting! thank you so much :)
This is the best vlog I have seen of the Island of Ireland. I am impressed with how much research you both did. Hope you get to go back in Summer and enjoy the other parts of Ireland too. Thanks for sharing.
My husband and I love watching vlogging couples to inspire our trips 🥰 we have a trip planned in Ireland and this was so enjoyable to watch and help inspire our trip! Can’t wait to wait more!
Wow wow wow, what a tour of my country. So good, I enjoyed every minute of this and you guys seem like such a cool couple. You've given me so many ideas on where to visit too. Awesome video. get back soon. Love from David, The Wandering Irishman.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you thank you! 😊
Hi you two 🤪 Kinnon and I are planning our travels and loving this video 🤍 THANKS FOR SUCH GREAT AND HELPFUL CONTENT XO YOU ROCK
Lovely video and couple. ❤ Thanks for sharing your honeymoon, ancestry and fresh perspectives.
Thank you so much!😊
Fabulous video and a fantastic couple, have a wonderful life together....Best wishes from Dublin ❤
What a beautifully made video! My cousins and I are travelling to Ireland in August-September, and your video has gotten me more excited about our trip. Thanks so much.
That’s awesome! Have a great trip!!
So glad you stayed at Balleygalley castle hotel! My favorite hotel I stayed in NI..
This was THE best exploration and documentation of Ireland I have seen. Ye were a pleasure to watch also. Ye came across so well. I actually learned some stuff about my own country. Also the night photography was unreal. Thanks for capturing Ireland in so much of its glory.
It’s so amazing to read this feed back, thank you!!! ☺️
Lovely video, thanks for sharing your honeymoon with US!
So happy you enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed watching your video about Ireland more than all the other videos I have seen on the country. You both had a real down to earth approach. I think we were all eager to see how the honeymoon couple would enjoy this trip. Well done and God bless your marriage.
Aww this is so nice, thank you so much!
Was waiting for the Wild Atlantic Way trip! Loved the video though guys! Glad you enjoyed Ireland. Highly recommend the above and the beautiful county of Galway!
Yeah we need to plan a trip on the entire West coast haha. We did not realize how big the country is!
Hey guys big fan of your candid lively vids … keep traveling and making those amazing memories ❤
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you for taking the time during your honeymoon to show us the sights. Your video is delightful and packed with great info. Congratulations on your marriage--you two seem like a terrific match.
hubby & wife (CONGRATS) It's about time!
Thank you!! 😊
It was really cool and different to see you sticking to the east of the country… now you can come back and do the West, which is prettier again! Plus the young lady’s (Sky?) accent sounded so suburban Dublin it was hilarious! Thanks for repping the country!
Haha yes! We are thinking a 2 week trip focused on the West 😀
We are going in September and I can’t wait! I was just looking at things that I saved to plan our route n found a post that made me think of your trip. I’m sorry but I don’t recall if you said relatives came to Ireland or went to Scotland but you couldn’t locate the reason. It’s a long post but I will share it publicly on my FB wall. It’s the 6th paragraph from the bottom that explains why some came to Ireland from Scotland. Not sure if it fits the time period or the direction that you were looking for but I figured that I would pass it on. I’m Anna Murray and my profile pic is a 4 story home w Christmas lights.
thank you for this. Excellent guide. Now you have done this is there anything you would change, add, take out of your itinerary.
Thanks
Carl
❤️The beauty of Ireland is in many trips, we wouldn’t change anything…we only wish we made it to the Derry for the Halloween festival 😊
I loved your video. I hope a great happy, blessed life for your marriage, and beautiful children. :-) lovely couple and I can't wait to visit Ireland.
Thank you so much!
Congratulations on your marriage. I hope you have a great life together
Thanks for the video, really love it
I’m planning a trip and this is really helpful, thank you. Also love that you dressed so nicely, Sky! How did you ever get all those sweaters and outfits in that small bag? 😊
Have fun! And thank you! We actually had a 3rd bag that was just sweaters 😅
You two are a really energetic couple, good luck, I love you ❤❤😊
Thank you so much!!

Thanks so much for your video! What a trip! My wife and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary in Ireland, and we were wondering if your gowiththeflow trip was a specific route mentioned on their website, or a custom trip. We couldn’t seem to find it.
Hey! it was a cutom trip, if you reach out to them directly they can help :)
Great video , tourism ireland should be paying you for that video 😂
Though I live in Ireland, I don't get much opportunity to tour due to caring responsibilities. This has got to have been one of the very best videos I've seen from here, and I've seen a lot! (I suppose the fact it was your honeymoon had something to do with the high quality of hotels you stayed in.) Drone photography was amazing and your choice of places to visit excellent. Ballygalley Castle hotel is a spookey place. A friend of mine was very upset when she visited a clairvoyant there once. The prediction she was annoyed by did indeed come to pass, just in a slightly longer time frame.
I would agree with the comment above that suggested Halloween night would have been a great time to visit what we here in the North call Stroke City, Derry/Londonderry! 😂 Thanks for taking us along and the very best of luck to you as a married couple!
Thank you so so much! Yes def kicking ourselves for missing out on Derry Halloween night 😢
Just found you and your fantastic vlog of my country and home town of Dublin I live in Westmeath now with my husband and 3 sons. Howth is my favourite place ever thanks for making my day ❤❤❤ congrats on being husband and wife 🎉🎉
Soo cool! Thanks for watching 😀We are in shock how many people are seeing this video. So grateful ❤️
@@daveyandsky thanks for replying!! Can I ask did you feel safe in Dublin? like all cities it has good and bad areas x
We felt safe! The cab drivers reminded us to be cautious travellers though 😂
@@daveyandsky 😂😂 Irish people are so protective and kind and down to earth 🌍
Both of you did a fantastic job with this video, and y'all are lively and well spoken. My husband and I are planning a 5 year anniversary trip to Ireland next year. We intend to visit mostly Southern Ireland. Which castle was your favorite to stay in?
Thank you!!! Our favourites are Ballygally and Huntington. Happy 5 year anniversary hope you guys have a great trip, Ireland is spectacular
wonderful video! are you able to share your itinerary? i'm going to ireland in a few months and would love to be able to reference it
Congratulations.
Thank you!
Congratulations on your nuptials!! Loved your video! Great information! We are going this year at the beginning of October. A few things I wanted to ask you…The weather? How cold? Renting a car? How expensive and did you get the insurance? I have been wanting to book a session at EPIC. How long before did you do that? 🙏🏻
Thank you! October is an awesome time to visit! The weather wasn’t bad at all while we were there. We found if it did rain then you could just wait a bit and it would be sunny again. Because of the on and off rain showers there were tons of rainbows during our travels which was beautiful to see. It was a bit chilly so packing layers is advised. A nice warm weather to go under your raincoat will keep you toasty. Good footwear you don’t mind getting muddy is also helpful. For the car rental it was through hertz and it was 600 euros for 8 days. Renting a car is definitely worth it to see so much more of the country. We touched base with EPIC a few months before the trip! Sooner is better so that someone can begin researching with plenty of time before you arrive. What they uncovered for us was amazing and we never would have known David’s true Irish roots without it. Ireland is amazing you’re going to have a wonderful time!
Halloween started in Ireland
Halloween was huge! Kicking ourselves for missing the Derry Halloween festival
I was having dinner with my American wife, in the Larragh Lodge, and between courses went to the waterfall. My wife did go in for ba swim, returned to the restaurant and she had her dessert, soaking wet.
Nice!👍
Lovely video. Congratulations on your marriage
Heading to Ireland in April! We really want to rent a car so we can explore on our own but nervous as we’ve never driven in Europe. Would you say it’s difficult to drive around?
Driving wasn’t that bad it’s just smaller roads and people drive quite fast but most people are cautious of the slower drivers. Italy was a totally different story lol 😂
Just take it slow and you’ll get used to it! Choosing to drive is definitely the best way to see the country so you can visit as many spots as you like. It’s so green and beautiful!
She was right about 'Help the Hallowe'en party'. Unfortunately, 'Trick or treat' is making inroads.
Oh wow- would love to find info on our Irish ancestors.
I would hope it wasn't actually Martin, given that he's dead. 😉 Love the video, and glad you enjoyed your time in NI. Excellent mangling of placename pronunciation, but we'll forgive that. 😉
Congratulations 🥂 wow when I clicked on the video I never expected to see my narrow boat in the background @ graiguenamanagh 😅 beautiful video ☘️🇮🇪
It's not Londonderry, it's Derry. 🇮🇪🇵🇸
Eire..
It’s Derry, not Londonderry 🤓
Congradulation kids… when did youse get married???… we gt married on the 20 of October
You should have tried an Irish coffee
Maybe we did 😉
would help to put the titles/locations in the video, it can be hard to follow
They are all in chapters on the video if you need them but a visual would help viewers who are not watching on a phone/computer. Thanks for the recommendation!
I love you ❤❤❤
😘
Only 2 mistakes. 1, Yous should have tried to make Halloween in Derry. 2 not taking a black Taxi tour in Belfast.. 👍👍✌🇮🇪
We knoowww! kicking ourselves haha. Just an excuse to go back! 😊
