@@Robert-ig6zh Actually, based on the Olympic performances, Pyrros Dimas, Naim Suleymanoglu, Kakhi Kakhiashvili and Halil Mutlu are the only weightlifters who have won gold medals in three consecutive Olympic Games, and only Pyrros Dimas has won four medals in four consecutive Olympic Games, three golds and one bronze...

@Martand81 well, there is no comparison between the 4 because they all competed in different categories... I can't compare them, nobody can in fact, I just stated their Olympic medals... Everyone was great at what they did, and I definitely agree with you regarding Naim 😉

Back in 2004, I was a butcher in a crummy supermarket in Greece. My friend had two passes to the weightlifting in Athens. He offered to take me. But I put work first. I quit that job soon after and started a new life, but I regret not going to this event to this day. Jobs come and go. But historic events only happen once in their field.

Giorgi Asanidze, who took the first place here! He was in much better shape at the sydney olympics, there was just a lot of misbehavior towards him and they forcefully lost that olympics and the greek won, georgians are the best in power sports in the world, look at arm wrestling, weightlifting, judo, rugby, greco roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, look How many Georgians appear in the UFC, the strongest men in the world are from Georgia! Even the best Greek athletes from Georgia were Kakhi Kakhishvili and Ilias Iliadis (Jarji Zviadauri). Georgian Nikoloz Sherazadashvili, who brought the first gold medal in history to Spain at the World Judo Championship, competed on behalf of Spain, and the freestyle Olympic champion competed on behalf of Serbia.
