I really love Rebecca's timing. She doesn't do these forced 'hollywood pauses' straight from trailers. She's quick, natural, she swiftly combines her lines with gestures like drinking tea. Perfect!
Rebecca has so beautifully matured into one of the most interesting actors of her entire generation, man or woman, black or white, Tyrion or full-bodied
I'm definitely mesmerized with her in this role, the movie deserved more credit than it got. I think many people didn't even know it was related to The Shining so they didn't care to check it out.
In the book the Knot's image is carefully cultivated. Cool, laid-back bohemian types. Chill and friendly. The kind you can picture kicking back and sharing a spliff with beside the fire. But they are actually centuries-old energy vampires.
@@merlinho0t There was a cult nearby where I live that was disbanded because they were caught manufacturing LSD, and the members had to move off their compound. I knew quite a few, and they remind me of this True Knot. The nicknames, the boho style...the nomadic ways (they were always going somewhere) it was honestly creepy. They're nice people, but they remind me of this True Knot.
@cjwright79 Rose is 400 according to Rebecca Ferguson, making her originate from the 1600s at least in the film, but in the book it's unclear exactly how old she is.
I think they would have killed her if she was not so impressed by her. Like Crow Daddy has saw her multiple times, what i believe means he was already looking out for her as a new victim, when he saw her "talent".
They mention that she doesn’t actually have that much shine, it’s just all concentrated into her push ability so she wouldn’t have made a good meal for the energy vampires anyway
Can't think of a movie villian I've been so attracted to, but as equally terrified of as Rose. I'd argue without the actresses portrayal of her, this movie might not have worked.
The way rebecca moves and speaks, completely within the normal realm of possibility, but just the slightest bit *too* fast. Like she's optimized her habits/actions over the centuries. It's...practiced. Like she doesn't hesitate the way humans do, because everything that could possibly happen she's done before.
Also how she is quick and firm to correct Andi's assumptions, yet never loses her presence and only grows serious at the very end when she is repeating potentially the only vow she has kept her entire life, the core tenet of her existence
Strange that Andi being abused as a child would end up torturing children and murding them. Youd think she would be against what the true Knot does. Hypocrite and that makes me hate her more than Rose honestly
The actors are really great for these roles! But i wished so much the Movie would be more like the book. Scenes like that descripe the living of and in the True Knot not very well. And the relationship between Andy and Rose is so much more than these 2:25…

Rebecca Ferguson was so great as Rose The Hat. She was pure evil but also so boho and charming. And how cool is that RV inside? There is a hot tub!
The ultimate dream RV
i just noticed bahahha its like a damn house in there bahahha
Rebecca Ferguson killed this role completely
Very true
@Maynards so blue she didn’t, she brought it to life in a blaze
I'm definitely mesmerized with her in this role, the movie deserved more credit than it got. I think many people didn't even know it was related to The Shining so they didn't care to check it out.
I also love Snake Bite Andy constantly trying to process that she has come across bigger mindfuck than she can ever be 😃
0:47 pretty much everyone that looks at Rebecca Ferguson
That’s what I was saying, I don’t think there was any acting necessary for Emily there 🤣

I think they pretty much captured exactly what you’d described in the film as well

I would love to see the True Knot Prequel that I kept hearing about.
@@ChloGlowif you want to know more about Ireland in the 1700s, where Rose originated, may I suggest a little movie called Barry Lyndon

Strange how if Andi had been just a little bit younger they probably would have killed her for her steam
I think it’s less her age, and more her ability/talent. Without that, they probably still would have killed

She was recruited for her talent..

*villain.
Eat well, Stay young, Live long. The way it should be.
rebecca ferguson is absolutely electric
I know it's so wrong but I LOVE Rose the Hat
What a talented woman. Tom Cruise had a very good eye with this one

rebecca is such a good actress
I love this scene and both Rose and Andi❤
I want that caravan and the bohemian style in it!
Strange that Andi being abused as a child would end up torturing children and murding them. Youd think she would be against what the true Knot does. Hypocrite and that makes me hate her more than Rose honestly
Underated movie. The book was good too
Rosé is really beautiful
True knot since life’s a thread and they are attempting immortality 😮 so cool
Stephen king and Mike Flanagan never miss
Rebecca is incredible. So beautiful and seductive in this role. And scary too. Rose is horrible but it's difficult not to be drawn to her.
Love this scene
They changed Andy's age she was 30 in the book and she pretended to be 28. Then after she turned rose and her had an *coughs* encounter
Meh they got laid. No big deal.
Yes. I was thinking "Wasn't she much older in the books?"
Love this movie
I love her room
In this Rebecca Ferguson looks exactly like my High School Art Teacher who I had a crush on.

good movie, underrated
Seriously hot villain in this movie
“What’s tied can never be untied” that is unless you’re about to die, then we hover over you waiting to consume your soul.
how do you untie the gordian knot?
hack it with a sword lol (or axe , if you are danny)
Rose is really beautiful women
wondering if you can upload the "I want her" scene....... it's a begging for help....
It's like a Mexican soap opera
Huh
I would kill for being a rich and famous actress
Pathetic
That trailer is flawless looking!!
Right??
