this is exactly what i've been thinking too, what mike said in the end "we're not changing for anyone" seeing as other bands similar to them turned to pop when they came to the realization that that genre is becoming popular - pierce the veil stays the same and it's nice to not have to go "aw man, i miss the 2010 ptv when they were heavy" because they still seem to be. that was the right thing to say, mike, because now i know my assumptions were right. keep doing what you're doing, pierce the veil.

I feel like a lot of bands lose themselves by "experimenting" or "evolving" with every single record until it's eventually something no one recognizes or likes. PTV does NOT have this problem.

I had gotten the album and there were people saying that they have changed, so when I listened over the album I was like "gurl what you talking bout?" Like, it's different from their other albums because every album is unique in it's own way but, they're sound, and the way they, write and set up songs like, it's still "mexicore" (I tell that to people when they ask me what kind of music I listen to, it's funny) so really, I don't think they, as band, and their music style has changed too much from you know, the last three albums, I mean yeah, it changed, but not a HUGE change.
