I recorded this storm with a Tascam dr44 and 2 xlr blue 300 series microphones via phantom power. This storm was recorded on my property in Texas, underneath a rain shed next to a small, wooded area. I edited this thunderstorm recording in Sony Vegas and Audacity. Artwork by David A Keller with Autodesk Sketchbook. When it first starts from the smell rain exudes to the symphony of distant thunder it emanates. The sound of water droplets falling into puddles and white noise that sends positive vibes throughout my body. I sleep to it, write to it, and just use as a background ambiance in my every day life. The reason rain helps us sleep is because as primates , the rain was the only time we could feel relatively safe from predation. That and nothing wants to be out in the rain doing anything. So it was a good time to relax.

Up and just saying to my hubby what a blessing this is. I promise I sleep soooo good and listen often .Today i dreamed of being in a cabin in the rainy mountains , sleeping with my windows cracked and a fresh breeze of air blowing on my face. Woke up and now I'm just sitting in bed with my hubby sipping coffee..no news ,yet, this morning, just want to stay out in the rainy woods a little longer.😁

Select a length of time.
Tap When Timer Ends. Or what sound it plays
Scroll to the bottom and tap Stop Playing.
Tap Set in the upper right corner of the screen.
