- IMPORTANT: I mention links to free downloads at the end of this video, but when we set them up, they did not work (not clickable) so I have removed. Don't go looking for them in the video! They are now below in the text of this description. CZcams does not permit us to have active links in our video's yet. We are too small :(
On Day 118 of 'A Year in the Life of a Miniaturist' I made a lot of progress on my Tudor room box by creating an illusion of depth using layered components in it's construction. I have also been thinking more about transfer media and show a few more examples that I will do a tutorial on in the next few days. And finally, to celebrate our reaching over 1000 subscribers, I share some links below, for you to access a free digital issue of my miniatures magazine, and a free download link for a 'Shabby Chic' screen. I do hope you enjoy, and I would value any feedback on them you may like to share with me.
Feel free to share the links with family and miniaturist friends, but if you do reprint the project, please give me credit as the creator. Warm regards to the 'One Thousand' and thank you for your support and subscribing, Jill.
PS: Here are the links referred to in the video. Just copy and paste into your browser.

Thank you Jill and Roger. Technology wonderful though it is, can test our patience and aging brain cells😅.
I had to do an update post today. I think Rogerr and I completely confused a few folks :(
Walter will have quite the lovely, cozy room to enjoy!
I use clear packing tape to make transfers in my altered art books. I never thought about using it for miniatures.
Many congrats on your subscriber count - so well deserved! What lovely gifts from you to your subscribers - thank you! I see the link is “in process” so I will wait a bit before trying it. Can’t wait!
Thanks so much! ❤❤ Kathleen
Hi Kathleen. We had to rework the post as the links were a failure. Roger apologises!! The corrected post is up and running, but you can easily go to the free downloads from the links below:

THank you. Makes us happy to hear the positive feedback!! Regards, Jill.
I’m so happy for you AND for your subscribers - we benefit from your success every time you post! About the room, that’s a lot of progress and it looks wonderful. You have inspired me to make a powder room on the first level of my dollhouse…after the window replacement project is complete!
Hi Anika, thank you! Did you have a go at downloading the project and magazine? Cheers, Jill.
@@miniaturetimetravellerHi Jill! I was able to locate and download the magazine. The link for the table took me to the Free Projects page, but I don’t see the shabby chic table there. I’m not able to find it.
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers! I wish you many, many more! Thank you for the freebie. I can’t wait to read it. Sally in Northern California 😁

My pleasure.
Congratulations 🎉 ❤
Many thanks. Inspiring for me.
I have been very much enjoying watching your travels and adventures! Thank you for the lovely gifts, certainly you have taught me some things! I just used your lace headboard "carving trick on a bed and love it! Since Old English/medieval history is fascinating to me, I have been watching with interest. I love the time travel idea too, you solve so many issues that way! Best of luck and results on your channel, Well done! BUT, I could not get the link to work either.....it says Linkly link not found....
Hello Kim. I will get Roger onto the technical side of things. There is sometimes a problem with links from CZcams.
@@miniaturetimetraveller thank you! I just subscribed to your magazine and found the same message on June but not April!
Congratulations Jill and Roger, your efforts are certainly appreciated, especially in our time zone. Look forward to your gift when the link is sorted out.
BTW This coming weekend the VAME show/fair In Melbourne is on👏👏
