    Here’s how you can make mango squash at home. And not just a mango squash, I have also shared with you how you can use the mango squash to make Mango shake, Mango Ice Tea, Mango Lassi And Mango Frooti too!
    I have also shared with you how you can preserve the mango squash using Class II preservatives so that you can enjoy it through out the year.

    Recipes :
    Mango Squash
    Preparation time: 20 minutes
    Cooking time: 20 minutes
    Makes: 3 Liter
    Ingredients:
    1 kg Ripe mango puree (1.5 kg to 1.75kg Ripe Mangoes)
    1 kg Sugar
    1 litre Water
    1 tsp Citric acid / 3 tbsp lemon juice
    1 tsp KMS (Potassium Meta bi Sulphite) (optional)
    Method:
    Wash, peel, chop the mangoes.
    Blend mango pieces in a blender to make a fine pour.
    In a large pan, boil together the water and sugar, add the citric acid and simmer for 7-8 minutes till you have a syrup of 1 string consistency.
    Add the mango puree and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from fire.
    Store in sterilized glass bottles in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
    To preserve for a longer period, dissolve the KMS in 2 tbsp water and add to the squash.
    Store in clean glass bottles.
    Mango Frooti:
    Preparation time: 5 minutes
    Serves: 3
    Ingredients:
    1 cup squash
    400ml chilled water
    1 cup Ice
    Method:
    Mix together all the ingredients and serve.
    1 cup Mango Ice Tea
    Preparation time: 10 minutes
    Cooking time: 5 minutes
    Serves: 4-5
    Ingredients:
    For tea concoction:
    1 cup water
    1 tsp black tea
    For ice tea:
    Prepared tea concoction
    3 tbsp lemon juice
    1 cup mango squash
    Mint leaves
    Lemon slices
    ½ litre water
    Ice cubes
    Mango slices
    Method:
    In a any jar, mix together mango squash, lemon juice, some mint leaves & black tea concentrate, ice cubes and mix well.
    Serve with fresh mint leaves, mango slices and some lemon slices. Serve immediately.
    Mango Milk Shake
    Preparation time: 5 minutes
    Serves: 2
    Ingredients:
    1 cup Mango squash
    200 ml chilled milk
    4 scoop vanilla ice-cream
    Method:
    Blend together the mango squash, chilled milk and 2 scoops vanilla ice cream.
    Top with vanilla ice cream and serve.
    Mango Lassi
    Preparation time: 5 minutes
    Serves: 2
    Ingredients:
    1 cup Mango squash
    1 cup chilled yoghurt
    Method:
    Whisk together the mango squash and yoghurt till smooth. Serve cold.
