    My 2019 LD was exactly the same as the video. Except mine was a T15.
    Great video. Thanks man. I first tried to drop the box like the other 2019 videos and found no filter cover.❤

    This video is right for the 2019 LD . Mine doesn’t have the push the sides and release the shock type.

    Apparently, there is 2 different models GM made. I have a 2019 HD3500 Silverado Duramax and this video is correct. I watched 2 other videos pulling out the glove box - I did that and no filter was showing. Then found this video and took the screws out and went deeper and there it was. So guys, can’t always just say ‘wrong.’ This way was the only way to get my filter changed.

    • @MyTorino
      @MyTorino  Před rokem +1

      Yes Sir. They had the old and new body style for 2019. Or at least what my son in law told me.

      I said its wrong due to the fact that the video says its for the 2019 silverado. Not the 2019 silverado hd

    Ok guys this video is wrong. I just removed the glove box no tools needed 2019 silverado. It's very easy. Pull the 2 tabs in at the top, unhook the shock, pull the box upward to release the bottom. Now you can access the cabin filter. Take about 5 minutes

      I believe it's a 2019 LD. Their interiors and exteriors didn't change with the 1500's.

      This helped me out, was changing it for my dad, didnt have to take any screws out, simply push in from the sides and it falls out lol

    • @w2tty
      @w2tty Před 2 lety

      It might not be wrong. It could be the proper way because the other end of the damper can’t fall off (it’s easy to put on if it does fall off), but many of us (me included) take the shortcut 🙂

      @jamesduncan2408 Před rokem +1

      He’s not wrong. That is the proper way to do it. Is there and easier way ….yes, but it’s not the proper way, and you also risk a “control arm” (for the lack of a better term) for the door on the glove box to fall behind the glove box thus causing you to have to remove the box as shown in the video anyway.

    The title of this video is WRONG!!!
    You don’t need ANY tools for a 2019 1/2 ton Silverado. All you do is….
    Open the glove box door
    On the left side, slide off the gas shock
    Squeeze the sides of the glove box and pull down
    The filter access panel has a clip on the left side.
    Slide access panel to the left.
    Change filter and reverse instructions

  • @debrahocking8678
