  • This week we're taking our metal detecting adventures to this beautiful Colonial Grist Mill. The new property owner is restoring this mill to its original look, so what a great opportunity to try and see what old artifacts and coins may be laying just under the surface!

I started watching about a year ago and I knew nothing, but never missing an episode I now know just next to nothing, only because there is so much knowledge on the show. I find myself sort of knowing the numbers and depth as well as some of the tones for different metals. I am like a kid every week waiting with incredible anticipation and I have to say you guys never disappoint. Grown men and women having fun like kids, and I love it. Thanks for the fun!

The toy is a Crash Tender, all airports have them. They mix a concentrate and water, whisk it up and spray it as as a foam. It suppresses fire and also blankets spilled fuel. Your key was exactly the same as the back door lock on my mom and dad's house in England. I used to live in a Watermill in England before I moved to Canada, and it had a turning wheel on the side of it.. Love your Excalibur Shovel in Green, I have an Excalibur Merlin as well. Casey makes a great product, hand made in Utah, USA.

That key is a "skeleton key". They were for inner doors in the house. They had no notches on the bottom "paddle thingy." The same key would open every door in the house. I lived in a house in Massachusetts that had doors with keys like that. The house (and doors and keys) was made in the 1920's.

Token is 1933 (32’ World’s Fair) and I’m sure the Masons took advantage of it with Roosevelt being a 32nd degree Mason at the time with the highest order being 33rd. Sunburst is actually an Egyptian occult symbol for their sun god RA (means sun) and is used by the Masons.
