Shame it turned out as a pretty much dead hand regarding all the electronics. But hey, it lasted even longer than the GTR LM rear tires ; -) Oh and i strongly agree, there is nothing like getting your magnetic shifter cherry popped.
The wear on the alcantara can be mostly fixed, Jimmy. It's only really the fibres getting pushed together. Get a fine wire brush and give it a gentle scrub to get some texture back.

I used to put your endurance racing videos on (before you got the direct drive wheel) and kind of fell asleep to them multiple times. The older Thrustmaster wheel you had before this had very nice paddle shift clicks as well, or at least they came through sounding nice in the videos. At some point I would just have my eyes closed and be able to tell where on La Sarthe or Spa you were, just by the shifting pattern :').
I think billy monger the guy who lost his legs a few years ago uses a similar wheel which has the throttle and clutch he’s racing gp3 at the moment and doing channel 4 f1 stuff as well

I got the ClubSport Formula V2 Wheel too (also the F1 Edition, but thats just color and stuff). As far as I know you have to use the ClubSport V2.5 Wheelbase for it, i doubt it works great with the CSL base. EDIT: just looked it up, you can actually use the CSL Base. So I guess youre right that you probably need the newest firmware update.
One more thing Mr jimmy is that ur content is great as usual we love u more than just the sim racing boi ur cool funny and insanely talented Ur also handsome (no homorino bro) keep up the great work P.s ur improvement in health mentally and ur drinking has been great motivation for us all

I’m just starting my collection bout to my second and I’m sure I’ll buy a third fourth etc.., I need one of those double paddle rims for my surgery that’s coming up on my foot :-/ a year recovery, that Mclaren gt3 V2 rim is the next rim I’m getting
8:45 that might even give an advantage to people with fully functioning legs. I find throttle/brake control is much easier on a controller since hands tend to be more dexterous than feet.

Actually those Momo wheels you show at minute 5.07 I'm pretty sure that the left one is quite identical to the used on the Ferrari 412T1 from 1994 by Jean Alesi at least and the one at right looks to me also as a F1 real drive wheel from any team (Williams came to mind) from the era. So can be that Momo took the design from there, kept it and now sell it as sim wheels ¿? Does that make any sense? *Actually the right one looks more likely at a Benetton B195 wheel than a Williams wheel.
Heyyyyy I tried the closest in thumbnail pic steering wheel (F28-SC) a couple of months ago during Asia GT expo. The price is too expensive in my country market tho. The wheel alone is equivalent to almost 3 months salary of my mother but ofc being 23 years old meaning you need to pay on your own lol. P. S my mom's salary was above average (just to give you guys an idea on how expensive the wheel are in my country). I heard it is among the cheapest Ascher wheel.
How about your own Tournament for Amateurs? Where the price is a Decent Rig with Base, pedals and wheel? Or an Entire Season, and we call Punerino Perfecto World Challange in probably the most accessible Sim there is, AC or ACC, Project Cars 1/2, stuff like that. Something for tight budget bois out there, I am one of those but I also not good at Sim racing, but just something to think about. Or maybe, you know, doesn't have to be a 2000$ Rig. If multiple Big Bois Band together maybe Thrustmaster or Logitech chime in.

With the Momo 27c did you have to drill holes in the wheel coz when u look on the internet it doesn’t come with holes in it

I’m taking with DD base together. Other wise it’s like $570 Aus for the rim. But $2,600 Aus if you get the DD podium base.
