  • This is the first video from my time here in Sweden and Norway! I thought I'd head out in search of some wildlife, bring you guys with me and update you on what my plans are for the rest of the time I'm here.
I' hoping to release plenty more content in the coming weeks, so don't forget to subscribe to stay up to date with what's to come. A dream of mine is to see and photograph moose, so I'm keeping everything crossed for that!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video and thank you once again for subscribing to my channel and I'll see you on the next one.

Yes, this are moose traces and poo. The musk oxen are just amazing. I’m just back from Dovrefjell photographing the musk ox. You also should watch the treetops while driving along the road on Dovrefjell. You might see the hawk owl 😉 greetings from Northern Norway 🇳🇴

      Hey Alfred,
Amazing! I’m going to go off searching for moose today in Abisko. I’m very excited for Dovrefjell and will definitely look out for the owls! Just found your Instagram account, very nice. All the best rich 👍

@@mywildlifeimages thanks Rich, your Instagram account is very nice 👍to find the moose you have the best chances in early morningen or late evening. For Dovrefjell I hope you have some local you join. It's a huge area and the muskox is not easy to find, if you don't no where to look. 😊

I really encourage you to come back to Scandinavia in the summer too! Spending a night or two by one of our little lakes in the middle of the forest during midnight sun is an experience you’ll never forget. For wildlife that’s the best time to see them. That’s when you have the best chance to spot a bear, moose or a fox. The sounds of the summers night forest is amazing. Please bring an effective mosquito repellent, ha ha!

I visited Abisko in February a couple of years ago, one of my favourite places. Proper wilderness. My wife and I took a short walk from the Turiststation towards the frozen lake and saw a moose by the lake. With only a GoPro and a compact camera I got some poor shots. There's been moose seen there recently so best of luck. Look forward to your next vlog.

Looks like you enjoy your trip.
You should ask your guide on Dovre. There should be good chances to experience black grouse lek and capercaillie lek.
The guides should have plenty of contacts that might help you. Even with moose I presume.
Btw, I hope you get a glimpse of the arctic fox (fjellrev) when visiting Dovre.

Hey Rich, I absolutely loved the video! I feel really grateful for people like you who just share the beauty of this world and their passion for nature. I hope that you're going to have lots of amazing days out in a field and that we will get to see it in your videos.
Speaking about the moose, recently I had a lot of luck with them as I had more than 20 encounters during the past 2 months - I live in east part of Poland and there's recently quite a lot of those fellas in my area :)
    Have a great day!

Hello Richard, looking forward to seeing your trip photographs. As for myself I literally saw 3 moose in the bush about 40 kms from my home on a back bush road only 5 days ago and photographed them. Unfortunately it was just getting dark and they were about 300 meters away so photos did not turn out great. Just ok. Oh yeah, I live in northern Canada. Take care and be safe out there….
