    I saw in the description of the loco that you can actually drive a double header by doing a short blast and the one behind will do one back to say it's ready. How awesome!

    Sorry to comment again, but at 12:30 the 1980s tender is flat because it is welded. 3442 sat out of use, rusting away at Severn Valley during the 1970s, and the tank needed replaced, so a new welded one was built.

    I’ve watched this video 3 times trying to get the basics down to drive this loco in intermediate mode but can’t for the life of me figure it out. How is this harder than driving a BMG loco!?!

    At 5:45 the gauges with needles do not move from what I have found in my operations of the K4. I also have to recommend these beautiful locomotives. (3442 in my favourite LNER loco).

    I have to play with TSX mode off on TS because with TSX mode on, i get at best 1-5 frames per second...
    With TSX mode off though, i get 30 frames per second apart from a few lag spikes here and there mostly because it might be loading in scenery.

    Although Steven, the NRM needed to make Money and Scotsman is a engine guaranteed to make money, so it will hopefully pay back what it had to have spent on it. Hopefully

    Excellent review of a magnificent engine. Definitely gonna have to grab that one for a birthday present.
    It's interesting that of all the astonishing features you discovered about this engine, you missed that the whistle is actually quillable. If you pull down on the whistle cords in the cab, you can actually control the tone and volume of the whistle. Thought you'd like that.
    Also question: From what I've read on the JT page, the Gresley Teaks that come with this pack are updated versions of the ones released donkey's years ago by Matrix Trains. I don't know if you own the MT Teaks, but if you do can you notice any particular differences between the two? From what I've seen in videos & screenshots, I think the external textures on the JT Teaks look considerably better than the MT originals, but the interiors are about the same. Still, I'd love to have that huge variety of Teaks in my roster, especially after the frankly disappointing turn-out by Digital Traction; really guys? We know you can do better than just 3 coaches.

    • @GWR6029
      @GWR6029 Před 8 lety

      +sirrliv I noticed the dynamic whistle effect after recording and it's not the best as it comes in a bit late and cuts out a bit too early in my opinion. I'm not sure if these MT Gresley Teaks are an upgraded look for them as this is the first time I've owned his particular teaks but all the same they look cool and there's more coach specs then the DT ones, however the rail joint sounds on the MT ones seem quite dull and plain in sound compared to the likes of other rolling stock.

Also I need to relearn how to keep 844 going it's by far the most advanced steam loco in the game.
