So fun! I have watched a couple of your capsule wardrobe videos, and I love the concept but for myself I have such a hard time with feeling like it’s important to keep clothing items that are good for once-in-a-blue-moon type events/occasions, and I love having options. But then I still tend to find myself gravitating towards the same few items in my wardrobe anyway. Maybe I’ll try a capsule wardrobe sometime in the future!
I totally get that! I have a few things like my rain boots, fancy heels, etc. that I only pull out a few times a year. And I get the desire to have options too but I’m also a perfectionist and like things to look organized 😆Something I did awhile back was only keep my favorites/ most practical items in my sight and see if I remembered or even thought about the other things. If I did, I’d bring it back in.
I also know there’s no perfect wardrobe and that capsules aren’t for everyone! I think just doing whatever brings you joy and eliminates stress is the way to go ♥️
Maybe it could help storing your special occasion clothes in a different box. I think it's good to keep stuff you like. Better than regretting getting rid of. "Use less" has some good videos on that topic
Totally makes sense. I will definitely need to look into that! I also really struggle in the summertime because I love my fall/winter wardrobe and don’t really have anything that I like to wear or feel good in for warm or hot weather. So if I’m purchasing clothing, it tends to be long-sleeve, sweaters, long pants, etc., and I wear way more of that part of my wardrobe so it tends to be bigger.
For sure! I hate shorts 😂 I only own one pair of shorts for hot days but otherwise I like capris and tank tops in summer.
I recently thrifted a pair of wedgie straight leg Levi’s jeans from Plato’s closet and I’ve been wearing them almost everyday! I love thrifting a good pair of jeans!

I love this idea, I find myself gravitating towards the same clothes and add a couple of things into my wardrobe. Thrifting is so fun, I’ve found wonderful options doing that.
