I stayed there in 2010. I booked the WOW suite for about $650 when I was best man, for my homies bachelor party. Not sure what was up with all the curtains in this vid...But other than that, it was WELL worth the price for my homies bachelor party. I believe, at the W hotel Dallas, all the WOW and extreme WOW suites give you the same view of the Dallas Mavericks plaza. For the price, I would have rather paid for him to meet me in Vegas (I was stationed in San Diego), and stay in the Venetian/Palazzo for 1/3 price. But I had just finished Navy deployment and none of the groomsmen would wanna fly to Vegas then back to Dallas on wedding day. For a bachelor party, this was an amazing spot for the price...But I would rather had done something cheaper in Vegas, then just fly back to Dallas two days before the wedding.
Hey this was interesting! I think that was a pretty disappointing experience from the W. Do you guys have loyalty? If so, it’d be good to see what they gave you for that, free points, free breakfast, free Wifi etc, and whether any of that was worth it. Keep up the videos!
It really was disappointing! Yes we both have Platinum Elite status BUT unfortunately that doesn't really mean too much. We didn't get offered any complimentary breakfast as usually, we may have gotten a 500 point bonus if I remember correctly... which isn't much. As we mentioned in the video we didn't get much if any customers service at this location let alone any perks for being elite.
agreed! This W had so much promise, with it's location and that awesome rooftop pool. Unfortunately everything else fell kinda flat. Didn't fit the W vibe we were hoping for 💔

I stayed there twice and thought it was meh. I preferred Austin
Totally, we were definitely underwhelmed on our visit to the W Dallas. The W Austin is high on our list of the next W hotels we want to visit!
