Just a heads up for those that didn't know, albatross wings are so big that one of the only reasons they land is to mate and nest. Everything else, including sleeping, can and is done while flying. They are so evolved to be in the air with their massive wings that landing is comical to watch, and some older birds die if they land on the water cause they can't take off from a floating position. It's kinda amazing to see.

only land on land to breed and nest maybe... well more like obviously, but they land in water to eat as they need to dive under the surface to catch the fish.

Day one of suggesting multiplayer Monday, rock crawlers on explosive wheels!
Challenge idea: Offroad race but you increase your engine power every round. Or: A race but in between rounds you can try to sabotage others’ cars, but without removing parts.
i would love the opposite of this challenge? where you start with like an insane number of wings like lets say 100 wings, and you have to remove 10 each time

Little tip a tail heavy plane flies once and a nose heavy plane is a bad plane so balance ure weight also for gliding and smooth landing use flaps and for gangsta points use slats

We did it boys, we made him do evolution in scrap mechanic
kAN used a high wing configuration, which is a pretty good configuration for its stability from pendulum effect. Despite being stable, it is not good at maneuverability and high speed, it gets very low speed instead without unstablize.
Moonbo used a biplane configuration. I don't know much of this configuration tho, all I know is it can use smaller wings than its one planed counterparts
And finally, ScrapMan used a low wing configuration, which increases maneuverability and speed at the cost of stability. Being fast, it saves fuel, wich makes it most used in commercial flights. But for its low stability, the plane may overreact the controls, wich makes it require more precise and repetitive movements.
The issue with kans plane is it has a nose up tendency. He needs to move the entire wing aft. That will induce a nose down tendency which is what every aircraft has if weight and balance is correct. Nose up tendencies cause stalls. He also keeps inputting far too much pitch up which only causes a high alpha and produces a LOT of drag.
Bi planes arent necessarily smaller wings. They are highly maneuverable however and do usually produce more lift at the expense of higher drag. The lower wing is almost always shorter and staggered. You dont put it directly below the top wing you put it slightly aft.

Right around when this was uploaded I *finally* managed to make a functional plane with this mod!
I'm still a terrible pilot with my WS/JNM, controls but it worked!

You could try this where you could build a brick plane, Scrapman could build a wedge plane
And if anyone else joins, they could use another shape/block like a pipe for a plane

yall ever try to do this but instead of using the best plane for the next round use the worst? and still try and go as far as possible
Suggestion: build airplanes with bombes to bomb a target. Every player have one bomber plane, and build one manual turret for Defence. Then you take turns defending two in turrets vs 1 in the bomber.

Idea for a challenge: a race where you make a "truck" and a "trailer" but both the truck and trailer have to have the ability to steer meaning you could do teams of 2 (1 steer truck, 1 steer trailer) or use logic attached to the truck for single person teams. You can also have min lengths for the two parts and make stops to pick up/dropoff cargo
Scrapman's World Record Run lasted a full minute of just flying and coasting.
it would be more interesting if the challenge was to land at the shortest distance possible
