Elvis is the one singer who was born with auto tune built into his vocal cords. Remember Elvis had no vocal coach you never will hear Elvis hit a bad note.. The greatest voice to ever come through a mic...fact
Agreed! and well said..
Elvis is a complete natural! He had no voice lessons like the great Frank Sinatra had to get to that point in his singing career! But Elvis’ voice was God given !! Nay I say anymore!!
Elvis is number 1 and the separation between him and any other great artist in my mind is significant. Similar to Michael Jordan being by far the GOAT in basketball Elvis is by far the GOAT of singing and performing.
I think "Kentucky Rain" is one of Elvis' best story songs. He lost someone he loved very much and he is walking and searching in the pouring rain to desperately try to find her. He was very vulnerable and heartbroken as he displayed tremendous depth in his words and emotions. A great, classic, song.
Another good story song of his is, "Old Shep". 😉😪😎
Dani I’ve listened to a lot of artists all the time but I will have to say boldly and with total confidence that Elvis is the GOAT ( Greatest Of All Time )!!
This song brings back the somber memories. I still remember August 16, 1977. I was sitting on the couch reading a book when my nephew came through the door and announced that Elvis was dead. I got up and walked woodenly to the stereo and turned the radio on just as the first melancholy strains of Kentucky Rain began to play. The D.J. played Elvis for 24 straight hours, pausing only for news and brief station identification breaks. Though the summer sun was bright outside, I felt the dark gloom of that Kentucky Rain falling on some lonesome highway. My mother began to cry. I sat back down on the couch and just quietly listened until the news came on with the details of his death. I have to say that the studio version of this song is far better than the live version you are playing. Listen to it sometime.
Dani I'm so glad your an Elvis fan, true Elvis fans get it.
When Elvis sang it was straight from his heart. Have been a fan for more than 60 years and still enjoy listening to the King.
Elvis is one of those people that Will live throw the ages thanks for doing a great job Elvis
When he breaks into the song its something else . Awesome. Total powerhouse
the strong soulful voice of Elvis is beautiful the studio version is my favorite this live performances very strong and iconic my favorite time frame of Elvis will always be between 1956 and 63 but from 1968 to 1971 he was also untouchable Kentucky rain definitely classic always in a class of his own have a wonderful weekend thank,,,,✋🏼👍🏼✌🏼😄
I have been binge watching your Elvis reaction videos. You get it!!
Love that you are introducing Elvis to new audiences. His music is timeless. His uniqueness is why he is still an icon.
One of my favourite Elvis songs! Love it! This song reached #16 on American charts but was a #1 record for Elvis here in Canada! 🇨🇦 Love it! Great vocals great musical arrangement on the single. It was his 50th gold single. Love it! ♥️♥️♥️🎼🎶🎵🇨🇦
I'm a huge Elvis fan and I love how you are so intuitive to his music Life and appearance I love you ❤️
Hi Dani, hope you're feeling well. "Kentucky Rain" is one of my Favorite Elvis Songs because he sings it with sooo much Emotion. Thanks for reacting to this song Dani, Thank you, Thank you very much!!!
He always sings like he’s going through that event at that moment. That’s why he’s my favorite singer. His passion always gets to me.
Elvis: The Best Ever, For Ever !!!
Haha...thank you very much honey...Elvis will relive everyone (but his respect towards you gals is immense).
This is my favorite Elvis song !!!! Love it !!! Thank you honey 😊
Love your reaction Elvis as always delivers never falters he's the man👍
Oh ELVIS beautiful voice 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 i LOVE.
One of my favorite Elvis songs for all the reasons you mentioned, especially the way he presented a deep imaged story of longing for a lost love. I can remember exactly where and when I first heard it. This was also the first time I heard his live version and was quite pleased. ☺️
That image that you love so much is the picture on the back of the album “Live On Stage, February 1970”. I would stare at that picture, listening to this as a three year old in 1973. Great memories.
As an old guy who started enthusiastically listening to Elvis on radio, who has heard his hundreds of hits hundreds of times (or more) I find your charming and beautiful reactions to be priceless. They even show me nuances I've glossed over. Keep on doing what you do so well. You're right that we all need positivity now more than ever. Hint: "It's Now or Never." My love to you Dani!
It's hard to believe that Elvis would be 86 years old now. He has been dead longer then he was alive. Lost to soon at 42. Still the king R.I.P.
We are so lucky to have him in our lives.
Great reaction beautiful sweet lady love your reactions
A beautiful song, makes me feel like I'm there, living it.
Eddie Rabbit wrote Kentucky Rain and later became a successful recording artist. He met Elvis only once in passing and Elvis said "Nice to meet you. Great song " and was whisked off. Rabbit said he would never forget that moment.
Dani, I love your facial expressions you present all Elvis' videos with so much passion I love it
Kentucky Rain is one of Elvis' best songs. This song tells a story. This is a concert version. In my opinion the nest version is the original studio version from 1969. Your reaction is great. I agree with what you said.
Hey Dani, Ii love it when you say Thank you. Thank you very much Thursday. Dani- you are sooo adorable and it always a pleasure to see your beautiful face. God bless you
So do I. It's so adorable when Dani says that.
She is a hottie!!
Elvis is really fantastic. I love your reaction.
Kentucky rain is a great song. Sounds great live.
Dani, I'd love to hear your reaction to 'I'm Leaving' or My Boy' by Elvis
I love your Elvis reaction videos and think your singing voice is incredible! By the way, your hair looks so pretty in this video.
Thank you so much Charles!!
Been an Elvis fan all my life..since I was about 12 when I first heard him..will love his music until the day I die..50 yrs of Elvis and I never get tired of hearing him
I love to hear from a true Elvis Presley fan. I love him. I listen to him every day.
I grew up under Elvis and this is one of many of my of my favorites , But I'm also a Kentuckian! Never be another Elvis, God broke the mold!!! Love him and miss him still.
Never ever heard the live version before absolutely loved it THE KING
I love the story telling in this song one of my favourites you can almost picture the sequence of events of the song
One of his best
It is interesting you say say that. When he started back to live concerts, after his movie contracts were done, I had heard he said, he would never sing a song he didn't believe in again. I believe that.
its true , if you carnt feel it in the words . you carnt give your best
Hi Dani, i'm glad to know you here on youtube. You're such a nice and polite person and i really love your comments. I'm loving it to watch your video's, it just makes me feel happy!!
Lots of love, Chris (from the Netherlands)
This I my favorite Elvis song and as much as I like watching him perform this is one song that is better in studio. Thx for listening to this people seldom do and I don't know why it really is a great song...♡
Sweetness and kindness are never "sappy." You're one of the sweetest and kindest reactors (and persons, period!) that I've ever seen, and you're certainly not "sappy"! Keep up the good work and congrats on the 10K!
I really enjoy your reactions and your positive attitude. It always brightens my day.

One of his best songs ! Beleive that Mac Davis wrote this lovely song , Keep it up Dani : TCB
@Gino Ruperes tep you're right
The country singer who di "Love the Rainy Nights" wrote this, too. Awesome song.
It was Eddie Rabbit, who wrote for the 👑of music ❤ 💯🙏 amen.
Dani is sensational.A cutie with some appealing takes on Elvis.
Keep making videos.
Artists have a responsibility to expound and express because no one else besides y'all or us have that gift to do it😮❤😂
Dani. I know you have a real love for Elvis - I think that is so wonderful. I wish that I would have had the love of a woman that you have for Elvis. Very jealous of him.
I don't know many more artists that truly conveyed they're passion and heartache like Elvis. It's a top 5 tier in my opinion.
Could make a suggestion.. Elvis Prince from another planet "that's all right mama" Madison Square garden unbelievable new video
Great reaction sweety
Danni if you like songs with a story...try listening to his version of "Softly as I leave you" it'll tear your heart out...
Ooh will do!
@@DaniAtkinson I also wanted you to know that of all the reaction channel hosts you are by far my favorite...you love Elvis almost as much as I do... of course I've been a fan a little longer than you...I've been a fan since 3:28 PM on Feb 17, 1965...that's the moment I was born...my parents loved him...so I was born a fan...lol Now that I know for sure that you'll actually see what I write... I'll suggest any videos I would like to see you play...I kinda have an idea of what you'll like...You keep Takin' Care of Business little lady...
ThankYouVeryMuch
@@DaniAtkinson , two other Elvis songs very much worth checking out are "The Power of My Love" and "True Love Travels on a Gravel Road."
Hi Dani, great seeing you💖, you know Kentucky Rain is one of my favorite Elvis songs, for a few reasons, i can relate to that, i had a girlfriend once and i flew to another country to find her, i did found but she never came back home with me ,she stayed with the other guy there....you are right when you said Elvis knows how to tell a story, ans we, the artists, have alit of emotions and we ard sensitive souls , thats why i write music, please listen to my original songs and review / react on them , they are all true autobiographical stories , check : Vanilla candle , Sad Rain, voice of an angel , all by me : Lior B
EVERY SYLLABLE is pure PASSION & POWER. RICH TONE. He B* E *L* I* E *V* E* S what he is singing, he BECOMES the song. Mind and voice control off the charts. Check out the Aloha concert for a totally different vibe/tempo to this song.
I heartily applaud his outstanding, and truly extraordinary talents both musically and vocally.. He does justice to every song he sings..
Eddie Rabbitt wrote this song. He had a great career of his own with songs like "I Love A Rainy Night", "Drivin' My Life Away", "Every Which Way But Loose", "Step By Step", and others.
How refreshing is great lyrics and music with a clearly articulated heartrending story told by the KING.
Thanks for doing this song. One of my favorites. And congrats on 10k followers !!!
Dani the song Kentucky Rain was written by Eddie Rabbit another country artist Kentucky Rain became Elvis's fiftieth song to sell one million copies!
One of my top 5 Elvis songs.. marvelous!
Great track from his 1969 Memphis sessions.
Yes hello it's me again hey there I see you had 200, so I thought I'd make it 201 list Kentucky Rain you nailed it even though this is one year later anyhow from Carl Supertramp Garnett God bless be safe say hi to family
The studio version of Kentucky Rain is my favorite Elvis song. I think it shows continued growth in his vocal prowess.
Elvis recorded this at the Memphis Recording Studio here in Memphis in 1969. He recorded some of his best music during these sessions, including In the Ghetto and Suspicious Minds. If you can find a cd of these sessions, (I’ve got two), it’s definitely worth it. You should try listening to Gentle on my Mind and Long Black Limousine, 2 of my favorites from the 69 sessions.
Kentucky Rain.. one of my favorites. Fabulous!
Dani, I've watched many of your reaction videos. Love them all! I am from Tupelo, and my mother took me to the fair to see Elvis in 1956 when I was 8. That started it all. I am the author of several novels, written as fiction but drawn from my life. I manage to mention Elvis in all of them. :) My books are used in many high schools and colleges. So young readers are exposed to Elvis while reading through the chapters of my life. Keep up the good work! You have a sweet spirit! God bless you!
Have you listened to the song Don’t by Elvis?
YES it brings out his lower voice range , deep
The King.....❤
It's a song that reminds me on 3rd grade, when all my friends are absent in school and I was walking home in the rain and incidentally, dad was playing the song when I got home... I miss those days
Number one storyteller of all time. Thank you for sharing .
love this one , such lovely words x
I just have to share this here. At 71, I've been an Elvis fan for some time. Driving home today, I had just heard, "All Shook Up"! Got out of the car; squatted down to pick up something, and could NOT get up. "My legs were shakey and my knees were weak", and after my granddaughter helped me up, I couldn't "seem to stand on my own 2 feet"!!! Seriously! 😅🤣😂 After a visit to the emergency room, everything's OK. Dr. said probably dehydration, or the song! Now, what are the odds?! LOL Yes, I know it's, "my hands are shakey" 😉😎
Dani so love your reactions to the music l love , and it all started with Elvis for me.
Love your site take a look at trying to get to you from 68 special great raw version elvis will live forever
I'm glad that you did this one. Was waiting on it. 😊
Hi Dani, please try TRUE LOVE TRAVELS ON A GRAVEL ROAD also live from this January/February 1970 engagement! Also very strong voice and meanful words!
i love that song but not that version. The studio version is amazing
If you could check out I've Lost You, How The Web Was Woven, Twenty Days And Twenty Nights, The Next Step Is Love, From Elvis, That's the Way It Is video concert and album. All beautifully sung by Elvis.
Will do!
The Writer must have a thing for rain, Eddie Rabbit wrote the song. He also had a hit song he sang himself called "I Love a Rainey Night". Maybe you should react to it..lol
LOL 😉
Rabbit recorded it in the early "80's, a shame Elvis wasn't alive to cover it, I think it would have been great if he did "I love a Rainey Night"....
@@paulabby5605 I agree 100%
Most of those rain songs are country songs. Rain is one of the staples of country music lyrics along with Mama,, trucks, prison, trains, honky tanks, dogs, and rodeos along with a few others.
Here's a bit of music trivia...the piano player on Kentucky Rain was a then unknown studio musician who later became an incredible artist with 40 #1 hits in country music by the name of Ronnie Millsap.
I have a feeling u fancy Elvis?!??lol
Ever thought of reacting to some of his influences and also who he influenced?
I’m not a musical historian but I think that would be fun.
I know he influenced Robert plant Led .Zepoelin and Geoff Tate of Queensryche
Some of the best frontmen ever
Yes hello it's me again hi there I was just going through the music and I seen your picture with Kentucky Rain and that's one of my favourite so I thought see what you think I might have seen you with this one before but you know that might have been months ago so I'm not sure but yeah gorgeous song travel Canada Toronto Scarborough Ontario God bless be safe TCB from Carl supertrapp Garnett

Blue Christmas
Then give all your listeners a good laugh with this Elvis cover.
Porky Pig sings Blue Christmas. TY
For decades I thought the line was "old Kentucky rain" which didn't make sense to me.
I hope you know why I bugged you SO MANY times to do this song! It may be my favorite, although I really can't pick just 1! I sure think it is ICONIC Elvis though!! Thanks for finding your way to it!
