A mid-heavy euro that can be played in 90min it’s great. I’m actually pulling the trigger with this game. I wasn’t expecting it. This kinda came out of nowhere and is taking us by surprise, at least to me. Will watch play through

The game looks pretty fun, but, like in Resurgence, I kind of dislike the luck factor from the bag pulling. It can lead to non-games from time to time whe someone keeps getting better workers than the others. I wonder if just giving leeway to people to chose would be a good way to do it
i guess you could do that, but tbh the bag pulling has only a very small effect on the ultimate game outcome. this is a game where you're scoring high 300s... being able to play a 7 point building tile (that robs you of points later) rather than a 0 point tile (that gains you points later) is not in any way the deciding factor of victory in this game! :)
Sounds like amazing listening to Rahdo! But when was the last time Rahdo did not like a game?? All his critics seem to fluctuate between 9.99 and 10.00
A rating system would be good to appreciate Rahdo’s nuances between all his fantastic reviews.
The caveats listed at the end of the video might be a -2 or -3 for me which would rate the game at 7 or 8 out of 10. Therefore a good game surely, one i want to try once but nothing essential I want to add to my collection.

It's good design with stuff we already seen in other games. for a point salad game it's too thinky. I miss the elegance of ultimate railroads or burgundy. Or let's say I prefer those kind of point salad games. I think people who think will like this will end up liking it, but I will skip it for the collection as other games scratch the same itch
I am with you, i played it last night and it was ok, i prefer Lisboa or Burgundy as i think this game is trying to do too much and to have a score track that you can loop 3 times tells me the points are way too high, its almost like the game designer is a dopamine dealer, this one will not be entering our collection.
