Yeah Rick, I'm sorry that you teach English too. I don't care if you're an English prof at Oxford it's the same spelling and sound when spoken as a rhyming couplet. So get the fuck over it, Ozzy rhymed masses and masses. Nobody said they had the same definition. That's pedantry mixed with sophistry pal. NachoFast said it was a rhyming issue, not a definition issue. Step away from the straw man.

I actually believe Johnny Cash was the original metal. Distort the guitars and speed it up slightly and it's metal af. He's a man dresses in black singing about drugs and violence with triplets and solos throughout. His voice was low like in metal. He just had only country to base it off of so it has that vibe and classification. Johnny Cash is where metal began. Sabbath created a conflagration from the spark. That's what I believe anyways. Ozzy is in his own league though.

Wrong, Johny Cash was actually a mix of country and blues, but had some rock combined too . (Or at least some beta version) Rock's roots actually go far as back as the 40's, 30's, and even the 20's ! The invention of electric guitars and distortion heavily contributed to the evolution of rock . Rock turned into the rock we know today during the 70's and 80's . The Beatles and many more contributed to the formation of popular music and rock as we know it .
Sorry about this. I'm kinda a music nerd.

Well-meaning suggestion: These fan made videos are more distracting than anything, sometimes even detracting from the song. Please try to find a lyrics video if the official video isn't available. Or, I don't know, just put the static lyrics up there on the screen so we can follow along :)

Agreed. Like when he says "oh shit" as the tank appears on screen at 8:03 or as they're about to beat that guy at 8:32. I'm like: "Dude, that has nothing to do with the song or the band. Focus on the music". I get that official videos are sometimes really bad (censored, shortened etc) Same thing can be said about fan-made lyric videos, which often contains bad spelling and wrong words. But there's always Spotify, Apple Music and similar streaming services which typically has the best versions. They also let you focus on the music itself (and if you need lyrics you can pull them up quite easily)
