The Nature's Garden lip balm kits make like 30 lip balms and are only around $15. If anyone is looking for a lip balm kit, go with them. (I recommend the chocolate avocado one.)

Also I think what happened with your beeswax beads is that a lot of them are stuck together on the flat side. We ran into that problem and had to go through and separate them.
It was still a bit short in the one I made with my niece, we got about 25 per batch. I had wanted to use a good 35 per batch to make it nice and firm like they suggested, so that was my main con. But she had a lot of fun, it was deff worth the $13.49 imo
considering they used all the wax they should have had too much product for the tubs, but they didn't, so...
I love how this company sent you these & you just roasted them while making them 😂 It was fun to watch, would love to see you & Kenny do your own lip balms!
The only kids craft kit I’ve ever used & loved are the ones where you make your own mosaic stepping stone! I’ve used a few of Michaels kits (& one from 5 Below) to make ones for my garden & one as a pet memorial. You can also paint some of them too but I prefer the mosaic ☺️

I'm not surprised at all that there's no colour in the package. Parents choose things they would use over what a child would like, so if they ever question the ingredients they would never spend the money on buying it.
Nancy Kelly i actually think it’s because breathing in the particles from pigments and dyes can cause respiratory issues and they were too lazy to include a cosmetic grade wax coloring block it didn’t want to risk a lawsuit if they included pigment/dye and something happened. 🤷🏻♀️

A couple drops of vegetable glycerin would give it that sweetness and illusion of a bubblegum taste.
Is glycerine oil soluble? I thought it can only be mixed in water based or emulsified things.
No u can mix it in oil being that it is oily

I remember this toy I had as a kid that let you make your own nail polish and lip gloss. You could add colour (8), sparkles (35 packs) smells (8 bottles), and little other things. The nail polish had more than that, but the gloss was always so much fun to make. And they gave enough stuff to make 30 lip glosses and 15 nail polish bottles...worse thing, it was $40 Canadian and was sold back in 2005.
I love these fun crafts. Also Kenny's facial hair reminds me of the villain from LazyTown. 😊

So expensive! The recipe is very basic. They couldn't even splash out on cocoa butter because it's a bit more expensive than Shea but cocoa butter is a staple in a nice lipbalm recipe.
