    Thank you for another great video. Very detailed information about all the changes. I was on the fence due to it being only a 500 watt motor but, your hill climb test and throttle only top speed has sold this bike for me.

      @@CitizenCycle925 Surprisingly, the Stellar Falcon did not do much better on the hill test......and that 750 hub motor is very buzzy and loud. It wins with the programing and color options though.

    That is a nicely detailed bike. Very clean look. This is the first bike I have seen that includes a Suntour suspension seatpost. I have them on a couple of bikes and they are a big improvement over the typical pogo style posts that have very little travel.

      Very well detailed and finished bike. Great cable management. Also note that the rear rack is welded to two
      Points unlike most other bike brands where the rack downstays all converge on the hub area (a poor design subject to loosening and twisting from one swivel point.). One question for owners of Subaru Outbacks: can this bike fit into the trunk with rear seats folded down? Reason I ask is installation of a hitch and bike rack will cost me at least $600 and for now that is not a financial option.

    I like it. A lot. Nice finish, good design, well sorted updates, and I wish I could get an Amsterdam lock for a fat tire bike! The thick main tube gives away that it's an e-bike to those who know what to look for, but it's not as obvious as on an Aventon, and many people would assume it's just a very nice pedal bike. I have a Suntour suspension post, and agree it can be better than a cheap full suspension, and maybe 70% of a good full suspension. The downsides for me are a thumb throttle on the wrong side, and... that's about it! The hill climbing surprised me, and although it's it's not going to fly up hills like my RadMini, it's impressive for 500 watts. Definitely going to keep this on my short list!

      Thick main tube housing battery pretty much like most others as far as visibility issue. No problem. What I would like to see is a larger screen. The tiny one is unbefitting Euphree's other nice features.

    • @dennisluz6453
      @dennisluz6453 Před 10 měsíci

      Almost all eBikes now show visible battery housing whether on front downpost or rear seatpost. Can't get away from that. Aventon no different

    True but you also should get a good chain lock or a Kryptonite lock and attach to a public bike rack or post

    • @MumfordJim
      @MumfordJim Před rokem +3

      Cafe lock are common in Europe. Are sold as a add on, but the frame may not be drilled for one. These are very handy. AXA makes one with a chain lock, so you can also lock to something else for even more security.

    • @jimmyjames8736
      @jimmyjames8736 Před rokem

      That feature seems less useful here in the U.S. to me vs Europe. Too many full size pickups that can drive off with it before you can get outside even if you have an eye on it.

    You commented on the "smoothness" of the pedal assist, describing the experience as adding power more consistently without surging between pedal strokes. Is this something that you've only experienced with THIS bike, or is it just a feature you'd ordinarily feel by going with any torque-sensored bike over a cadence one? I like everything about this bike except the 500w motor. I weigh 100 lbs more than you and feel that, in order to get the same ride you experienced here, a 750w motor would be in order. At this time, Euphree only offers 500w models. Are there ANY other bikes you can recall, or recommend I check out, that would have this same smooth pedal assist experience, but house a 750w motor?

      @CarlosGonzalez-hg1xm Před 11 měsíci

      I got the Euphree X plus 6 days ago. I did so much research before making the decision. This is a great bike for the money. The torque sensor is very responsive, better than other torque sensor bikes I test drove. I love that you can throttle only to 28mph. As far as the 500w motor , its 500w nominal 900w peak, which is plenty to get you speed and torque for hills. I'm 210lbs and it feels like it can handle a lot more.

    They definitely put a lot of thought in the design. Doesn’t seem like a cheaply made bike. No ghost pedal( pedal throttle) lol. We know what companies spend money on advertising.
