Dr. Hawkins has essentially made the same observation as Sir Roger Penrose's explanation why artificial intelligence cannot replicate consciousness-because consciousness is not a computable phenomenon. It is an emergent property of a complex system, which (per Robert Rosen) is a system whose behavior cannot be modeled by finite algorithms.

The Self is the sustainer of your life
The mention of differential calculus here is possibly pretty wild. I've thought about how our minds work in terms of what a computer could be programmed to do and suspected that calculus is part of the operation, basically layers and layers of differentiation to identify patterns. It makes me wonder if Hawkins solved certain AI problems and just walked around not telling anyone.

I don't want to be right about my perceptions based on no news, but I will hold them for the sake of survival mode.
The ego is not just a part of yourself. There are negative entities behind it, which seek to keep you controlled. To have any chance of overcoming it is to enter into nothing less than a psychic war.
There are ways to remove negative entities without a psychic war.
How to remove it?

What if the resistance is unconscious? I want to let go of resentment, but if I do so, it is still there, lurking in the back of my mind. Sometimes I don't know what to do with that awful feeling of resistance.
It's because our reptilian brain still believes that the tiger is in the room. Our brains are wired for survival and self preservation. Our sensory system is designed to detect threats, problems and develop solutions. Just think about your hands and fingers and the fine motor control that they offer you which is unparalleled in the animal world. And just think about all the technology we've developed on this planet in just say 5000 years. Your problem is not really the resentment that you can't get rid of. Your problem is that you are trying to control the moment. And how you're constantly shining the beam of awareness on the very thing that bothers you. And thus reinforcing the tiger in the room. The brain cannot differentiate if it's a tiger or an unpleasent feeling. The intensity may differ but the mechanism is the same. Of course I'm talking for you as much as I'm talking for myself because I have the same problems 😂 And doc said this several times: The problem is that you are trying to control this moment. It's subtle but it's a constant interferance of the natural flow of things.
Dr Hawkins taught extensively on this, especially in his book Letting Go. Wishing you great success!
Once doc was talking about how it took him 11 days of constant (that's key here) letting go of something to fully let it go. That's what it takes I guess.

Words are a form of echo~location; abstract mental constructs in need of number theory to help us paint a far more vivid picture. And to me, subjects of videos like these among academic scholars often resemble the current Freewill (Holy Spirit) v. determinism (spirit of Satan) debate. And since I am a Christian, I tend to approach all peoples on the subject of Freewill through Biblical discourse in relation to the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, or what Judaism and Christianity refer to as the Holy Spirit/Ghost.
Free: a Condition; not under the control or in the power of another; able to act or be done as one desires without imposing upon another; not or no longer confined or imprisoned. Will (philosophy): an Action; the faculty by which a person makes decisions and/or initiates any action, including the Will to Live; (an art of the Heart).
Body/Mind/Emotion: when a Spirit of Freewill (God/Human) imposes its Will upon the Freewill of another it ceases being Freewill (Divine/Humane; Heaven or Peace on Earth). Belief is an emotion (energy in motion within an electromagnetic ocean) ~ in a place where some things are just too hard to believe until they come upon us.
So a few questions surface in relation to ego related theological discussions: how to move anyone outside of your own inner core without imposing Your Will and becoming like that which you seek to overcome? (the spirit of Satan/determinism; the adversary in this case). And since people are free to believe what they will there is no argument, there are only self-fulfilling prophecies. So how would God know that it is not more than just an illusion, to itself, without a basis for comparison? How would you?

@markavatar1296 death is only enlightenment, if it is the death of the ego, while, you are still alive. What are you left with? Yours true Self. Yours higher Self. That is the Self that cares about your survival. The ego is like a computer that runs, loops of your conditioning and beliefs, like cycles through your life. Only when you realize this, can bring awareness to it, and see it for what it is.
I became enlightened, but I don't want enlightenment, I just wanted to have a life, but my life was wrecked so I begged God like David did. now I have to Obey the Great Mind. I wish everyone had their minds hijacked, I was put through Spiritual Bootcamp, I was judged by God and left with a mind that corrects me and gives me the truth, even if others "know" the truth, they don't know, I thought I knew the truth, but I was corrected. the Kiniesology only gives what could be the truth if truth existed. Reality just is, it can't be explained, everyone has to believe

There is no such thing as spiritual progress, there is only clarifying your thinking in order to see through frauds such as these, and the fraud of yourself. Wake up. Know thyself. You are dreaming this dream with all of us.
If you cannot hear and see that this is Hawkins' own puffed up ego blabbing and trying to impress you then you're screwed.
