A bit of trivia, that locations of the restaurant is where the quick service place used to be. We still have our "forever" mugs that we purchased there back in the 90s.

Thank you for doing this review. We love Steakhouse 71 and have eaten there several times, but always for either lunch or dinner or in the lounge. I've always been curious about breakfast and loved hearing what you thought about it. We will have to try it out some time. It looks great and very reasonably priced by Disney standards.

I've been for breakfast twice and dinner twice, and LOVED every time! Got the breakfast hash both times, with bottomless mimosas...sweet! And for dinner, got the bacon and eggs twice and the strip steak twice, with asparagus. (I know what I like!) It's a must-do for me!

Another great vlog. So love watching (I owe you an email soon). Steakhouse 71 has been a favorite. I often will meet local friends for breakfast or lunch and then I would walk to MK for the day. Been to dinner once, might need to revisit. That meal was my least favorite. Lunch is always a favorite, but my gosh that breakfast feast looks amazing. Cheers to you.

Steakhouse 71 is one of our favorite places the medallions of beef is a very good entree and great price and of course the bacon and egg
Steakhouse 71 (and it’s predecessor, The Wave) is a favorite for us. We celebrated our 50th anniversary last December and dined there 3 times during our 11 day holiday. I was reliving my breakfasts with your video, wishing we were there. We always ask to be seated in Victor’s section….it’s okay to have a favorite waiter, isn’t it? Enjoy your videos, hoping you can add more attraction and merch to your repertoire.

Again you knocked or out of the park! I love Steakhouse 71. We enjoy it as a family--and they are so gracious, accommodating and delicious! My party has 2 with celiac’s, 1 shellfish allergy and 1 with cognitive decline. Yes--we are a trying bunch. But the folks at steakhouse 71 are patient and kind. Always making us feel like our needs are no issue for them. I am grateful! At to that service and attentions, a meal that is amazing! I love the bacon n eggs, the steakhouse salad and that burger!! Thank you Deni for sharing your experience. I enjoy the vicarious moments till our next trip, Happy Saturday!

Loved The Wave and was not disappointed with Steakhouse 71. We were there last year with the whole family for our 50th Anniversary. Have not been there for breakfast. We will need to try it. Thanks for the review.
we went in January for brunch it was wonderful such a nice time my daughter had the Walt dish and loved it thanks Denni as always you are the best dining reviewer ever
We love Steakhouse 71, been there for breakfast and dinner. I'm a sucker for a good eggs benny and they did not disappoint. At dinner I got the filet with the sauce flight and au gratin potatoes. Let me just say, those potatoes were the best I've ever had! Also, I need to recommend the wild mushroom sauce for the steak. I don't like mushrooms but this sauce is to die for good.

We stayed at the contemporary resort for a run Disney event and fell in love with steakhouse 71! We ate there 4 times for both breakfast and dinner! The burger was amazing and you can get the burger for dinner! Thanks for a great video!

Deni, The prices for breakfast seem just right. We're now starting to see someplaces a long way off property charge $18 for Avacado Toast, $25 for a big breakfast, $6.50 for a cup of coffee. How and when did you find out that there's daylight in the mornings, who knew? I thought the sun never got up till midday. Once upon a time (1974) the Contemporary used to put on the " Sunday Brunch," 9a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Adult, $6.95, children under 12, $4.00. Booking's were essential. Booking's were as rare as hen's teeth. There could be people out there still waiting for their booking to come up. Cheers, Chris Perry.

We had the pleasure of having The Wave breakfast menu served upstairs at California Grill. That feast is amazing. We also had the pleasure of dinner at Steakhouse 71 with Panda during our November trip last year. Panda and I both ordered the burger and, like the breakfast, it was amazing.

Great review! We just stayed Club Level at the Contemporary last week. In the lounge every morning they had avacado toast from the California Grill. It had a bright lime and cilantro flavor and you could top it with fresh smoked salmon. If you get the chance to stay CL there, I highly recommend it!

Deni, I always feel encouraged after watching one of your videos. You just exude joy and I love that so much. I'm sorry - I love avocadoes but they can totally keep the avocado toast. It just looks unappetizing to me. Everything else looked awesome. When I order a benedict anywhere, I request that my eggs be cooked to medium - still runs but it's warm and tasty. Just can't get into the poached eggs thing. I was at the Wave years ago but haven't been back to Florida since 2018.
You are so kind. Thank you ❤ Avocados on their own aren’t my favorite, but smash ‘em and add onion, lime juice, and assorted other stuff, and I’m in. My favorite kind of egg is a jammy one, but I’m not great at getting them just right, so I opt for a fairly runny poached version. :)
We were actually so close to going to S71 last year, will def have to check it out next time!

Hi Deni - another great review. We were able to go there for breakfast during our January trip. My friend tried the feast and loved it! I had the Walt’s prime rib hash. I absolutely loved it! It was amazing! I highly recommend trying it. I tried the bacon cheddar grits and those were fantastic

I technically have and have not. I have because it was when The Wave was being refurbed and the breakfast was moved into California Grill for a limited time, and that's where I technically have not. I mean, breakfast in California Grill, are you kidding me?! BEST view for breakfast I ever had!

Had to check the SH71 menu as you were describing your food and the "Feast" wasn't listed! Was it perhaps a special for the 50th? It's April 1 and the WDW website has been scrubbed of all things 50 already! They did still have Walt's Prime Rib Hash which I thought was just a special for the celebration. Interesting... Anyway. Great video - super content!! Sad part to all this… Steakhouse 71 no longer has the feast as of April. This was my family’s favorite breakfast before walking to Magic Kingdom. Went there today April 7th and was told they don’t offer it anymore. ☹️
