Terry Fox to me is one of the most inspirational Canadians to ever walk the face of the earth! I wish more people in the world knew about him and what he did to help those in need that were suffering from the terrible disease that took his life! I first heard of Terry when I purchased Rod Stewart's 1981 album Tonight I'm Yours that has this song on it. Its truly inspired me and kept my spirit up on achieving my goals.
I got this album, too. What a coincidence!! And it was when I first listened to this song, and read about Terry's story in a paper inside the album. I was in a Rod Stewart's show 8th of April 2023, but he didn't play this wonderful song.

Terry Fox will continue to inspire us all forever. Through the many Marathons of Hope - inspired Terry Fox Runs worldwide each year he just keeps raising more and more money to benefit ourselves, our children and our grandchildren. Our world's true hero.

I just finished reading his book. I was in Thunder Bay when he had to stop his Marathon of Hope. Remarkable feat! Hands down...Canada's greatest athlete ever. This song is so appropriate. JM

Inspiring and moving talk about being courageous, determined, focused and disciplined. What's sad is people with good working limbs make excuses for themselves while people like this individual don't let anything get in their way. I'm a quadriplegic who is functional but I wasn't 4 years ago. A freak accident left me paralyzed from the neck down. I was not able to dress myself couldn't brush my own teeth, feed myself, comb my hair and wasn't able to do a lot of things we all take for granted. Currently I am able to do things I'm not supposed to be able to do. Many medical professionals physical and occupational therapist have been amazed by how much i have healed. When I see videos like this or hear stories like this it inspires me to continue pushing forward. I have unintentionally inspired people with my determination and never quit attitude. It's not something I intended to do but it feels good to know people have not given up and pushed themselves by watching me push myself to get better and stronger
