The Big Rose March 27, 1952... another great episode ... “Rosie: gets drunk and fools around”... sister said... irony Aunt Bernice! Thanks for the CZcams post 👌
That confession must not have been admissible in court? Without it, probable cause difficult. She probably would have only gotten 2nd degree even with confession and spent 5 yrs in prison. Where was the knife? Was she harmed? She couldn’t have ran? It was a knife, not a gun. Why didn’t she call police right away after this happened. Instead threw her sisters body in the woods. That was cold too. The victim wasn’t a good mom, but murdering her was WRONG. People glad she was found innocent - I think too many judge others and that the lives of certain people don’t matter and that’s wrong too. Wonder if the kids stayed with her. The oldest may have doubted his aunts innocence. Overall though a very interesting episode.
Wow … not guilty, and wonder if the detectives evidence, the confession was admissible in court. I’m assuming that confession really happened, but likely didn’t get into evidence. And without it, probable doubt would have been difficult to overcome. Where was the knife she supposedly attacked the sister with and if this was the case why didn’t she call police immediately? As a prosecutor I’m sure that was brought up. Jury less likely to convict a woman. I wonder if she kept the kids …. Interesting case. Her sister had to really hate the victim to do that. She was not a very good mother, but this was not a reason to murder her. I don’t buy the self- defense excuse hearing what she told Friday.
Virginia Gregg! She's awesome!
I've seen her in 2 mst3k movies....🤗
Such a great voice!!!
@@michelea2326 Yes indeed Michele! I just LOVE Virginia Gregg! ❤

Terrific interview, Brian. Terrific. Really learned a lot. Mark's explanation is so thorough and clear. Many, many thanks.
This is one of the few episodes where the defendant beats the rap.
SPOILER!
@@howardoller443 Just the facts, man.
fun!
So who was guilty?
Oh yea ! Room 42 ....Homicide 😎
Bernice must have had the same defense attorney that O.J. Simpson had? Naww, this was in '52. 😁
Nice she beat the rap… Her lawyer must have been F. Lee Bailey.
Ty

Fitima .. with added protection 😲. Protection from what 🤔. 🚬🚬🚬
As Jack hinted in the closing commercial, protection from harsh elements found in other cigarettes.
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
In this episode he savagely murdered a woman and attempted to frame her sister for the murder. He failed at this so he began passing out extra cancer
@@Efferheim That is seriously dark, disturbing, and deranged. Please seek professional help.
Why, Wanda?
