    Yes, we have natural oil on our scalp called sebum and you don't really need oil on our scalp. I do think that it's ok to put oil on the loc itself, especially the ends bc depending on how quickly the sebum on your scalp produces, it can take days for it to actually move down the loc. I slowly stopped using oil on my scalp since I was experiencing dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. If you want to find an oil that won't clog your scalp pores research the comedogenic scale.
