- Battle of the flat irons! Today I'll be putting the l'oreal steampod 3.0 and dyson corrale to the test to see which one is better value for your money, especially on natural type 4 hair. The dyson corrale is $500 and L'oreal steampod 3.0 is $300, let's see if the dyson is worth the extra money!

Your hair looks so good & has grown a lot since your cut! 😍 Also, I’ve been contemplating getting a texture release to make my hair a little more manageable & actually be able to wear silk presses w/o then reverting 20 min after going outside lol. Do you recommend the texture release? Did you like it? & did it make your silk presses last longer? Sorry lots of questions here lol

There's a 4.0 version now that supposedly gets the roots better.
Yeah but u need to olways separate your hair ..and the comb works better when its on the straightener..thats why i wont buy dyson

Does a steampod give the same damage as a regular straightner? Or is a steampod “healthier” for your hair?
I have the steampod 3.0 and i have straightened my hair for months and i have no heat damage

@@ladidodi8912I am! I’ve experienced zero heat damage with the steam pod, and that’s on hair with already fairly damaged ends. I personally love mine. My ends are about 3c/4a but the other 3/4ths of my hair are a solid 4b. My favorite part has to be that your hair doesn’t smell burnt 🥲
I actually don’t have too big of an issue with getting my roots straight, I just hold it there for a couple extra seconds, but if I do want it extra straight at the roots I’ll just tap them with my regular straightener and then use the steam pod for the rest :)
My hair is 4b/4c and the steampod is the perfect straightner. No heat damage beacause you need just one pass on the hair on 210°C. It perfectly straight it make the hair silk, and looking healthy

Thank you so much 🥰 It’s meant to be 75% less damaging than regular straighteners an it’s been perfect for me :) however I don’t straighten my hair that much, only like once a month or so xx
