Nice short quick and to the point video. Motor could be added to the list but that another video in itself.

I agree with almost all! I do have the new Blackpack Pro and it’s pretty sweet. I really like having a lid and it keeps things dry in the rain. For as much as I use it I don’t mind spending a bit

Been watching you for a bit and did not recognize you were from Arkansas! I am too! Will be going to fish Norfork and Bull shoals this week!

apprecite the breakdown and love KBN! Per the Amazon crate, I am a fan but buter bewareh. Te sides will start to bend or collapse inward. Now the top of your rods, if mounted on the crate, will start to touch. I used a 3/4 inch pvc about 16 inch long and zip tied it to the sides to create a brace that keeps the sides aligned. It's also strong enough to be a handle with a 30ah battery, water, misc in the crate as well.

Agree on the power pole - a stake out pole is the way to go. I use a retractable, floating boat pole (has a hook kinda thing on the end) that I bought at Walmart. It was $10 bucks, extends to 8’, and fits through my scupper holes (no hate please on stress to the scupper holes). I’ve been considering getting another one so that I can pin the kayak in exactly the right spot without dropping the anchor as the second point. Nice video!

Rain gear isn’t something I’ve invested in, yet. But I’ve been eyeing the AFTCO Barricade jacket and bibs. Good polarized sunglasses are a game changer. I went with Waterlands, and love them so far.

You know What After being limited to a yakattack box I come to the conclusion also that a regular milk crate is just enough for a simple day. However If its a long tourney day and I need more room the Dewalt tool box with wheels is my go to. Tight lines!

I've been kayak fishing for 9 years now. I've always had Hobie pa12s, now the 360 past 2 yrs. Amount of options we have now is insane, comparison to 5+ years ago!! The kayak creates are absolutely way way overpriced plastic box! I've been using my 13"x18" old-school milk create that came from my dad's garage sense the beginning. It's probably older than me. I made custom rod holders & modified it to my needs. If you can successfully target & catch fish already than I'm fine with adding electronics. If not you need to learn that. I've never owned any electronics till this past winter. Some guys are going crazy with their kayaks now days. Adding so much they can't even launch without a trailer or take 20 minutes to get rigged.
