In this clip, Vlad started off asking Sheek Louch if he hangs out in Yonkers, and he stated that it’s rare if he’s ever hanging out there. He explained as he started leveling up in his life, including investing in businesses, Sheek didn’t have as much fun hanging out on the corner. Vlad then pointed out that rappers are usually involved in situations in their own neighborhood, and Sheek stated that people get disillusioned by the hood loving them.

Sheek is speaking facts. As a teen I loved being on the block. Stoops, hallways, roofs. But after college and getting my own crib I said to myself "Why TF would I be outside of a building when I got my own place?". Then parenthood hit and completely changed everything lol.
Louch realized the world was bigger than that parking lot him and his boys would hang out at!! Once he experienced traveling the world, he grew up in the process and wanted more for his life and family!! Shout out to Sheek for wisdom obtained through growth!!

I lived in apartments before, I purchased my home and I had a neighbor who was 35, still living with his mama. Who would "chill on the block" in his own words, now we lived in a southern New Jersey suburban set of apartments. These apartments, had a in ground pool, central air, well manicured lawns, and plenty of professional neighbors, and older people. But here was this tall (6'7), old enough to know better, black dude posted up in his SUV In the parking lot, for 5 to 6 hours EVERYDAY smoking weed, and drinking everyday... With nothing better to do.
That whole chilling, just posted up mindset is dumb, and looks sadder and sadder on a person as they get older.

It’s called growing up. I was obviously never a rapper/musician or anyone famous but after college I got to travel the world and have lived in Tokyo,Singapore,Hong Kong,Norway,Sweden,Majorca Spain (if you have never been or seen Majorca Google it lol),Germany,Italy,France,Holland(I lived right above the Hard Rock Cafe in Amsterdam which was awesome)Montreal,Vancouver BC and about 25-30 of the 50 US states. I came back to my hometown and it was my 10 year high school reunion in 2005 and shit was completely different. Even though I kept in touch with my friends from high school,which we all grew up together because our elementary school,middle school and high school were all right next to one another so we had been going to school together since kindergarten. We all met up at this bar in Scottsdale because I didn’t actually go to the reunion event and shit was just way different. Don’t get me wrong it was cool seeing some people who I hadn’t seen since graduation night in 1995 but it just wasn’t the same. I had lived in Los Angeles three different times while I was traveling for work and the first time I was there the crew we had at work our office was so bad ass. We worked together and some of us actually lived together. That office got moved and people quit and the company tried to reopen that office and they did. As soon as I found out that they were going to reopen it I was the first one to put in a transfer. I was in Orlando FL at the time and I liked Orlando. They actually offered me and a dude named Chris to do manage that office in LA and I jumped at the opportunity. But it just wasn’t the same when we went back. LA didn’t change much in that year that we were gone and the new office wasn’t even far from the old one but things just weren’t the same. Enjoy each moment for what it is because it’s difficult to recreate the next time
