Good demo Dave. Probably down to the length but a bit too flexible for my liking. The British Army /Forces machete is a damn good bit of kit and can often be found at a decent price
It's gerber ....as opposed to jerber ....😂 The machete is NOT designed to chop foot thick logs ...it is designed to through brush WHICH IT GOES THROUGH LIKE BUTTER ... The golok from martindale is more multi purpose and therefore heavier... Gerber originally annoyed me by associating their brand with that muppet grylls .. ( he's a REALLY great ropes and knots guy ) ... but as much use as anne Frank's drum kit on everything else ... lol
