Thank you for this up close and personal visit to this historic area.. Saw a lot that I never knew about before . I agree with you ...the city could do a better job of keeping the park and monument areas maintained ...(.and maybe this summer's record heat killed all the landscaping ) So tragic the speech was never delivered ...glad they included it in the Memorial ..You did a good job filming the tour , Adam ..thanks for taking us along .❤👍.
Thanks for sharing your Dealey Plaza experience. I was six when JFK died and remember seeing replays of Oswald being shot that weekend. The flags at the air base in San Antonio were all half-staff, LBJ's portraits replaced JFK's quickly, life moved on in Texas.
I always thought what happened in Oak Cliff was much more interesting… And telling.. Oswald just kept acting about as guilty as he possibly could on the streets of Oak Cliff, and I think that’s evidence that cannot be ignored..
It’s actually a really small plaza, the proximity from the window to where he was shot is not that far.

Thanks for the tour, Adam. Nice to have the on site perspective. I recognized many areas from watching the news reports on that day.
Thanks for sharing!
There is an interesting and somber history to Martyr's Park as well. Deserves a deep dive. I encourage all to look into it.
I was in Dealey Plaza back in 2003, and it was both uncomfortable and intriguing at the same time.
The red building is not the book depository but many believe shots came from there.
501 Elm Place was not The Book Depository in 1963 that was known as The Dal-Tex Building
I. HAVE ALREADY. BEEN. THERE.
