My goodness, Australia had a wonderful showing in this episode.
I don't know if it is me or truly a jump in the quality, width and breadth of the talent in these auditions. Every one of these nine have something to make them memorable. Tarryn Stokes singing Sara Barreilles with fervor and power....David Auma with a too short but still stirring praise song from Lauren Daigle...Vanessa Corrales with Screamin' Jay Hawkins highly stylized "I put a Spell on You" with some of his touches...and Germany brings us the soulful and rich voice of Gugu Zulu... too hard to list all the nice work in this grouping. So the thanks to pureemotion for all the hard work of curating for all of us!

This is a really great compilation of 4-chair turns. The Australians sound like they're all professional singers already. That version of "Down Under" was a standout just because it sounded so different from the original -- he really made the song his. They were all excellent performances, though. Nice work putting this together!

Returning to listen to this No. 191, I simply _had_ to hear Nick Cunningham again . . . and again. He brought a totally new vibe with his unique version of "Down Under," a vibe that resonates deep, deep down. (And at 6'5" in height, he can look down a long way!) Love his voice and style.

Only just starting to watch here and on #4 (Clara de Gail - "Voilà" (The Voice Portugal 2022) I had to check to see if I was correct in hearing a French accent thate so, this is my story search today. I seem to really like artists that sit at the piano.
"Voilà" is a song by French singer Barbara Pravi. Yes Dan, It is very complicated. I only watched it for a couple years myself, but if you a particular person or country of interest it can take up all of your youtube time. Again, Pure steps up with another 🎉amazing compilation!! I want to echo the comments on Voice Australia.(I have been quietly watching these auditions on another (shhh... Aussie Talent) channel. This channel is frequently axed due to copyright issues. They show the whole auditon.) Anyway, the Aussie season this year has been truly great. I applaud Pure's restraint to hold the Aussie count to just 3.

This is a song written and performed in 1981 that has near legendary status in Australia. You may like this performance better, but please don't say this cover is better than the original.

It can get awfully complicated to include the name(s) of the songwriter(s), the singer authorized for the primary recording, and then the artist who later makes the song most distinctive. "Dancing On My Own" is a good example, as it was composed by Sweden's Robyn and her co-writer and producer Klas Åhlund. But the UK's Calum Scott's cover version gained the most notice, worldwide, and became the version usually sung by subsequent competitors in "The Voice" of various countries. What I'm saying is that It seems rather impractical to credit such a long list of names for every song and every compilation.

I already thought about adding this information, but I've seen many controversies, like in a video of "The Voice of Holland", the song was "All by Myself" and the credit was from The Voice itself to Celine Dion, which generated a lot of criticism for an error like the one cited by @ChollaRanch.
Only in specific cases where it is necessary to cite the author, I am putting this information, as in the video of "The journey of Bárbara Tinoco".
