I do not know much about West Coast Swing. But are the men supposed to stick their butt out most of the time? (I do not mean this as an offence in any way. It might be the case. I am just wondering, because they do not do that in other dance styles).
If this is the only thing you took away from this jewel of an improvisation, you obviously don't know much about the art of dancing itself.
There are less "shoulds" in West Coast Swing. Jacub and Emiline are more on the side of creating shapes and opportunities within the connection and partnership and less concerned about having it look a certain way. They are truely masterful at dancing WCS in this way! 🙂
