Great POS system ! I have only been training on this system for about a week and a half "FOH" The only issue I have run into is when Learning how to split a check into multiples on a busy evening As a new employee trying to become more efficient with the system, I have found that the " × " symbol next to the numbers indicating split quantities slightly confusing while in the middle of the rush I am actually getting better at it now but I may have caught on quicker if the symbol had been " ÷ " used instead After working and fine dining for over 32 years so far I have discovered this system has a Superior layout then others I have worked on I hope to conquer this learning curve quickly
My girlfriend just started a job as a cashier in a restaurant that uses this POS and we were trying to find videos to learn the system and all we can find is this video. Do you know of another link we can try for help? thanks!
Great video Dave but it's hard to believe this is the only video with some basic training about this system ?! My girlfriend just started a job as a cashier in a restaurant that uses this POS and we were trying to find videos to get ahead with the system and all we can find is yours?! doesn't heartland make tutorials for apprentices ? This is a nice demo but kinda sketchy for learning how to work with it for the first time. Someone should have a camera over a real work flow to see how an experienced cashier uses all the great features of this system in real life! Including closing at the end of the day. We can find nothing! 😣

How do I, as a manager, add gratuity on a check of 6 or more?
There is no way with this system, I switched to simtechpos, an excellent choice and the best overall, with no hidden charges.
Where is the No Sale button to open the flippin drawer
When you are on the screen to open a ticket, you would click on your name on the upper right corner and a drop down list will see the No Sale button
