I originally want to protest why quasar did not negate the dimension fusion, just to remember quasar effect in anime is actually much more tame and only negates when battling.
Still, this is truly legendary. The tension drop from counter gate resolve to Peten is hilarious.
Its effect in anime is different from Ocg/tcg
The effect doesn't negate in the anime otherwise he would defeat Z-one attacking the 0 atk Timelords, Yusei said that Quazar in anime negates effects that prevent destruction, that's it

@@DuCarrLangTu no, otherwise he would won by attackimg the 0 atk ones. It only negates the protection to destruction, and I guess their effects didn't triger because they need to survive the attack to use them
@@FranciscoRamirez-nb4uuoh i see why. it's negate the activation of the Timelords when it attack, not their effect. So that they keep their attributes, immuned to be destroyed by battle.

YouShow's Yusei vs Playmaker was one of the best scripted duels i've ever seen, i'll be waiting for it... But this duel was also insane

@@soso-V12 I still disagree with your point in Nash Vs Yusei, but this one imma have to agree cause I saw it too if Yusei used the effect of savior star dragon it would have negated the effect of cross sacrifice, and completely changed the results of this duel
@legendarylancers7446 I disagree because for all Yusei had known, Cross Sacrifice could have been a bluff. The characters aren't reading each others hands. His shock upon the summon of Obelisk tells he wasn't expecting it. Yes, choosing a different move can change the outcome. But that doesn't mean it's the best move.

I can’t recall if this question was already asked in the original upload of this Duel, and I’m really sorry if it was already asked, but is there any reason Savior Star didn’t negate anything at Kaiba’s turn at 45:18? Even if it would give up Savior Star, Yusei still has his set card that can negate battle damage.
Anyway, this duel was absolutely incredible. Looking forward to the next Tournament of Power episode.
Well, Yusei simply just didn't want to. Yusei used Kaiba's card to trigger Talisman of Reversal to draw more cards. It's not like Yusei's choice was bad.

Well, Yusei didn’t want his entire field destroyed. Savior Star Dragon negates the effect of a card, then destroys all cards on the field (Go to this moment right here to see its effect 42:30). If he activated that, his field would be fully open. This was Kaiba’s turn, so Kaiba could very easily summon a monster in his hand (For example, one of his X-Y-Z monsters) and attack for game.
@@supremeking6694 I saw that, but that’s not Savior Star’s effect (in the anime or irl).
Savior Star only destroys the opponents field in both versions, you can even hear it in his dialogue, he clearly says 相手(opponent)before field. Yusei would have still kept his trap.

During the original premiere all the way in 2018/2019, YouShow said that he didn't knew why YGOPRO (EDOPRO at the time) did this and and he just rolled with it.

Take a drink every time Yusei uses Tuning Supporter's effect in one of these duels.
Yusei had 2 oppurtunities for victory. Use veiler on Deep-eyes. Or shield warrior to protect quazar in the last turn

Mono Synchron's "effect" is a condition that can never be negated and will always apply. Quickdraw Synchron works this way too.

Absolutely epic duel, at some point I was a bit mad about the prolonging the end of the game, but both are too skilled. But in the end Kaiba losing to anyone except Yugi will be a humiliation
why shooting quasar cannot negate counter gate?
Sadly anime quasar only negates effects that prevent destruction when attacking.

Max Dragon in anime doesn't have a protection.

This really is the best editted video of all time, it's really like watching anime, we don't need the ygopro cut-in every now and then..
So can someone explain to me a few things here? The first is how is Junk Warrior's attack over 5k with the Arms Aide play? The Anime version is a continuous effect, not a Trigger. Second is how does Yusei synchro into Formula with Mono whose effects are supposed to be negated, as Explorer does negate in the Anime as well. How Yusei was able to Special summon Junk Servant when his field was Junk Synchron, Clear Effector, Life Stream, Ancient Fairy and Red Demons since he negated Obelisk's God Hand Crusher, unless that effect is applied separately from the effect damage to the 4k to each monster
I'm still confused about Junk Warrior, but about the other two: Mono Synchron is actually an effect monster with no effect. That text is a condition for when its being used as Synchro material which cannot be negated and always applies. Quickdraw Synchron works the same way. Second, Synchron Keeper only negated the damage from Obelisk's effect which is why it still cleared Yusei's field.
Junk Warrior was already at 4000 from absorbing the two level 2 monsters' power that turn. Armory Arm just put it up to 5000.

I'm sorry but I can't let it slide when there is a rule broken lol. right around 30:15 when Yusei summons synchron explorer he says the summoned tuner has it's effect negate but then immediately activates the negated effect. and he don't got money so..........that's against the rules.
that's not an effect, that's a condition, conditions can't be negated. even in the tcg, if you negate the effect of quickdraw synchron, you can still treat it as any other synchron tuner, because that's a condition.

great duel but lots of things were wrong, like chaos max attacking inflicts double pierce with stardust at 800 that's 3200 damage even after halving battle damage taken so seto wins. Also chaos max can't be destroyed by card effects so that was a bit screw the rules lol

But in this Anime Yusei said that all monsters from all Sides are destroyed so Thats why I said Thats Not the right effects

This is the worst editing ever. This is hilarious... especially the garbage lyrics. Not to mention that Jusei duels with a Turbo duel deck (no spells) and Kaiba has a normal deck. So trash.
The card in Kaiba's hand at the beginning before the duel was Deep Eyes White Dragon. A fitting card to beat Yusei because in real life, its something most opponents doesn't expect until its to late as you already baited out their negates with Deep Eyes White Dragon ending the duel at OTK.
