Agreed. The OLK9 trainer gal is on another level though. The PWD Magellan hundt was putty in her hand, Magellan hundt didn't know what was coming her way. A knowledgeable, smart, more relaxed hundt to be sure. A great outcome all around OLK9.
+1. Super training regimen! The Portie is a smart hundt to be sure. Great training outcome. Man, I'm wishing Sarasota, FL was closer to Vail, CO. as our daughter is in line for her very own Portie. You gotta see our Ms. Lilly sit and stay in the Frankfurt Main airport; she's not moving until called. "Kennel up Lilly" and its another flight. PWD's are super hundt's! .. Great training OLK9
Well, I'm certainly impressed big time!! Great job! My porty is a sweetheart with a lovely disposition. Still, she could really use a lot more training and/or refresher, such as the heel command and staying in place with or without distraction. Anyway, I can imagine how much work went into training this porty, clearly you know how to bring out the best in a dog.

Porties tend to have strong bonds with their Alpha person..with my Portie, I was her Alpha. She would wag her tail when she saw people and allowed pats, but always returned to me. She crossed the rainbow bridge 3 months ago and I miss her everyday.
I want a pwd. I have never had a dog in my life. Where do people like myself start?
They are a very active breed so I would for sure suggest getting them in training. PWD need a lot of mental stimulation. I would try to find a reputable breeder.
Jc Cabeza@ .. Our PWD Ms. Lilly is rounding 11yo continuing to be the super hundt that she is. We didn't the PWD breed from a hole in the wall until a friend's introduction. Our family of three couldn't be more thankful! Our Ms. Lilly is a real character and very much capable as PWD Magellan in the video. As hundt newbies, we climbed on board with command training practices on day one. The PWD hundt is the super breed that will stay be your side and sleep on your head. It's belly rub time ...
